Doesn't Unconditional Love mean NO conditions? That means no conditions for salvation, for 'getting to heaven', nothing. No CONDITIONS such as believing and accepting Jesus, or believing in God, or doing good. If God loves unconditionally but there are conditions for making it to heaven, then his love is separate from salvation? Therefore, not only does it have conditions for its expression, it's conditionally bounded in its scope? Then, by definition, it wouldn't be UNCONDITIONAL, right? I'm at a total loss here -- am I missing the point of the basic meaning of Unconditional? I'm serious, I want to know.

Yes, so much for that "there is proof of Jesus" lie!
The Atheist's Handook Site is offering such a reward (Can't post it because some Christian already had Yahoo delete the last post as spam! Christians hate the truth) Romans records? : (Chrestus, a common name back then isn't Christus, and the dates of those writing were long AFTER Jesus's time, no mention of crucifiction, nothing) Josephus? : (born at 37 A.D. get a clue) All proven heresay, pious frauds, and written long after the Jesus story started (decades and centuries later), and not proof at all. But if you do have REAL proof, you can get $1 billion! (P.S. It has been never been claimed yet and I have seen it posted years ago.)

If He didn't want an imperfect being to worship Satan then He should've never created that being in the first place, and since God can see into the future, there's no excuse for His lack of action. Ultimately, the burden is on Him.

Faith as in blind belief without evidence is anathema to my mind, I think it is beneath contempt...change my mind if you can.

"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ" Mahatma Gandhi

Most of us can certainly understand why he said this. I want to look inside what it really means. Obviously, Gandhi believed in Jesus, he just did not see any of his teachings influencing people's lives.

With all the fighting and backbiting I see on R & S, I thought it was about time for a laugh! So do enjoy!

Men in Heaven

When everybody on Earth was dead and waiting to enter
Paradise, God appeared and said, "I want the men to
make two lines. One line for the men who were true
heads of their household, and the other line for the
men who were dominated by their women - and I want all the women to report to St. Peter."

Soon, the women were gone, and there were two lines of
men.

The line of the men who were dominated by their wives
was 100 miles long, and in the line of men who truly
were heads of their household, there was only one man.
God said, "You men should be ashamed of yourselves, I
created you to be the Head of your household! You have
been disobedient and have not fulfilled your purpose!
Of all of you, only one obeyed. Learn from him."

God turned to the one man, "How did you manage to be
the only one in this line?" The man replied, "My wife
told me to stand here."

Jesus will come definetly. Imam Mehdi is not for Muslims, Messiah is not for Jews or Christians, Kalki Avatar is not for Hindu's.
The Awaited One, is known by different titles, as listed above.
Messiah, Imam Mehdi, Kalki Avatar are the titles of the Awaited One in different languages. But the Awaited One is ONE.

There have been many noted Scientist, that aren't Christians, that show that evolution is impossible. Henry Morris, Duane Gish, Philip Johnson, Michael Denton, Michael Behe, just to name a few. There is a web site that summerizes their findings and their huge evidence against evolution. http://emporium.turnpike.net/C/cs/ Your comments are against these highly intellegent Scientist, Professors, Biologist that speak not from any religion point of view , just from the misconception of evolution. If you can honestly look at these statements then answer the question How can this be? I would be very much appreciate to find out what you feel.

I am Christian. I love GOD sooo much.I also believe that everyone has a right to believe what they want without someone saying nasty things to them. I also would like to know, how is it that some of you KNOW your church is the right one and some of you KNOW this person is going to burn in hell for eterinity. The only person that knows these things for sure is GOD.One thing I do know is, Im not thinkin all this fighting is what he had in mind.I used to dislike Muslims basically because of ignorance. But I respectfully talked to them and found they are very devoted to GOD.I know this will sound dorky, but why can't we all just get along?

I saw a comment on another thread saying that everything Jehovah's Witnesses believe comes from the Bible. One of those beliefs is that Jesus is God's son, but not God himself. 1 John 5:20 says, "We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true--even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life." So, the Bible says directly that Jesus is true God. What is your church's explanation on this?

This is one example and please don't take offense. I'm merely interested.

The Bible only gives one mode of Baptism: dunking someone completely under water. As a matter of fact, it is all that the New Testament Christians knew - their very word meant nothing but to dunk completely. So, here is my question, how can someone justify "baptism" without Immersion?
