I am Christian. I love GOD sooo much.I also believe that everyone has a right to believe what they want without someone saying nasty things to them. I also would like to know, how is it that some of you KNOW your church is the right one and some of you KNOW this person is going to burn in hell for eterinity. The only person that knows these things for sure is GOD.One thing I do know is, Im not thinkin all this fighting is what he had in mind.I used to dislike Muslims basically because of ignorance. But I respectfully talked to them and found they are very devoted to GOD.I know this will sound dorky, but why can't we all just get along?

For Mibandibe, yes I believe in the bible, I am in a study right now. Yes I believe that Jesus is the only way. What I don't believe is that one denomination can tell another denomination they are wrong.Or tell an Atheist they better believe or rot in Hell. That is not up to us to judge. The whole point of this question has to do with the love of my fellow man. Remember Jesus did not force Himself on anyone.I will not force my beliefs on any one.If they are open to it, wonderful.GOD bless

I like you... really,
I am wiccan and I don't think my coven it the RIGHT one, nore do I thik that way about the church.

I think God is sitting in heaven laughing his @ss off at us for fighting over details.

We have waged century long wars over the face or name of god, how do we know OUR name is his REAL name, seems thatthe all powerfull God who exists out of time would also exist out of name, so why fight over miniscule details, when the BASES of these religions are the same...
But why am I telling you this, you've already grasped this concept. I would NEVER tell someone what they believed is wrong, not even you, and I thank you SINCERELY for giving me respect from a christian to a wiccan, Thank you.
God Bless your heart.

Did Jesus intend to be divided into 42,000 denominations - some of which ordain women and marry homosexuals? The Pagans were already doing that during Jesus' era and for 3 centuries afterwards.

Jesus said that the Bible was complete - nothing could be added and nothing could be deleted. Yet, Jesus never said that the Bible was subject to interpretation such that items were added or deleted.

Too many people walk around and say that the Orthodox and Catholics removed over 200 heretical gospels like the Gospel of Judas and the like.

Besides, I can't really tell people they are wrong because that would cost me 10 pts for an abuse violation. People can believe in what they want - only if they are prepared to explain themselves on Judgment Day and be cast in the infinite pit of fire with Satan and his believers....

I TOTALLY agree with you. Sometimes this site is great but most of the time it is just people trying to argue and "prove" another wrong.
I can honestly say I KNOW the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I KNOW it. Do I know who is going to end up in the Celestial Kingdom and who is not? No, and I would never claim to. I do not even know if I am for sure, BUT I KNOW I CAN. I KNOW that if I remain faithful to all the covenants and promises I have made, obey the commandments, live a good life, do what my Heavenly Father and my Savior would have me do, endure to the end, and other things, I CAN be with them and my family forever. That is what I know.
Now, that said, that does not mean I do not think others HAVE to believe what I do...they have the right to choose for themselves. ALso, I strongly believe we all must have our own personal testimony of what we believe to be true, I cannot make you or any other person believe what I do, and you cannot make me. That is where agency comes in to play and thank heaven for it!

Everyone has a right to believe what they want, and not be harassed. Yet there are still things such as right and wrong, true and false. The Hindu religion believes that there are many gods, Christians believe there is only one God. There has to be one that is right and one that is wrong. Roman Catholics believe that communion is the actual blood and body of Jesus, protestants believe it symbolizes the blood and body of Jesus. There again, there can only be one correct answer.

We can't get along because everyone likes to think they are right and everyone else is wrong. I don't think that will ever change. Everybody likes to quote the bible about how all these things are wrong and people are wrong because of what they believe it, but they forget that only God can judge people in the end. Not you, not me, not Joe next door. It doesn't matter what religion you believe in or don't believe in.

Do you believe the Holy Bible? Do you believe it is God's word? You say you are a christian...yet you dont care if someone else believes differently....See to me, that means you dont care what happens to them. The Bible tells us what you have to do, to inherit the kingdom of Heaven. The Bible tells us that it is ONLY through Jesus Christ that we are saved. Do you believe that? If you believe this, and know this to be true, then wouldnt you want EVERYONE to know?
That is like watching your neighbors house on fire, knowing that they are inside the house and sitting back thinking "well hopefully they will be ok" instead of running over there and warning them!
That is love.
Just as we, as believers in Christ, should share the gospel- YES we do know it is the only truth, and that may sound close minded but the truth is the truth- and you either have it, or you dont. I want others to KNOW the truth. I dont want anyone to end up in Hell...that is why I proclaim the Gospel of Christ on here...
For Jesus is the ONLY, WAY, TRUTH, and LIFE, and no one comes to the Father but THROUGH HIM" -John 14:6
Do you believe that?

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

1 Corinthians 15:2
By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

-Hold FIRM to the word of Truth! Enter through the narrow gate that leads to Life! -Matthew 7:13-14

I'm an Atheist, and I say this ALLLL the time. I don't believe in God, but I know that in your religion, if you tell me I'm going to hell, you are committing a big No-No. I argue with people who insult me, but that is where it ends.

I respect the fact that you all believe in God, and that you all are religious. I'm not prejudice or judgemental, therefore I will not hate or dislike someone because of their beliefs.

I tend to agree with you there. GOD is for all religions, no matter what they are. Most people fight over that not knowing the other party believes in exactly the same things he does ,only implemented it otherwise. I would love it if you could email me in regard of god. iI have also made a friend in GOD earlier last week and we communicate every day with each other.

you have fake numbers. in basic terms a small ingredient of non secular human beings desire faith to tell precise from incorrect. yet as an Atheist, your ideas tells you the genuine precise from incorrect. in certainty, with the aid of fact you're an Atheist there are no regulations on your existence different than the regulation. My ideals have no longer something to do with morally precise and morally incorrect. in case you have been raised via undesirable mothers and fathers you will think of that undesirable issues are morally proper(that's a generalization) with the aid of fact is all you have been taught, and there is not any changing that.

The answer to this is no. All religion is, is opinion and everyones is differant. All you can do is respect others. And the truth is NO BODY knows whether there is a god or not. Only dead people know and no one talks to them.
