Because we don't know when the end of days will come so in the meantime it's good to have somewhere to live and it is very often cheaper to pay a mortgage than to pay rent

The point is, they throw you on the street if you don't. also, though it may not be true now, it used to cost less for a mortgage than to pay the rent each week. And at the end of it, you live like me, rent free.

I hope you realise your mistake, the "End of Days" is a person, you obviously mean the end of times.

The end is coming but according to the ancient Vedic knowledge it is exactly calculated in 427,000 Years not that there wont be major wars and disaster but the end end not.
That's an irresponsible way to intemperate things. God wants us to be responsible human beings to the end. We should be concerned with when is death coming. You do not have to wait until Armageddon to go to Christ. When he comes again only mostly sinful living entities will be left. So think of him at the time of death and go to him then. Go to www.essene.org for the real truth on Christ > They found the lost teachings in the basement of the Vedacan

My mortgage is cheaper then rent. If I don't pay it for a month or two my family will have to move to a location that is not as nice as the one we live at now. Thats why.
:)
May GOD richly bless you

Ecclesiastes 2:24
A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God,

Ecclesiastes 8:15
So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun.

-God does not want us to be foolish. We are to live in this world but be apart from it- that means not join in with wordly ways, but continue to work and pay for the things we need- We know God takes care of us... but we need to be wise. This life is temporary, Amen to that! But each day we wake up, we are to give praise to God and trust that HE will take care of us, yet we need to WORK- and be responsible.

2 Thessalonians 3:10
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat."

Yes but if the world doesn't end in 3-4 months you are totally hosed. You get evicted and your credit rating is screwed.
