For me, the church is simply the people. I call where people give themselves the opportunities to get testimonials, as well as give their testimonies, I call where people glorify God, honor God, praise God, and give thanks, and worship to God together simply a "place of worship".

It's not so much 'what's the church for you?' as what is the church for God?
The church are those people who have turned from their sin, believed that Jesus Christ's saving work has been accounted to them and are now following Him. That is they keep His word the bible.
No they are not perfect but they are forgiven and whosoever will may come.
James

The Church for me is a community of believers who gather on Sundays and other days that are special to worship the Divine Trinity, to receive Holy Eucharist and other Sacraments of the Church. I have been a member of the church I attend for fifteen years and it has been supportive of my Christan faith. My faith is strengthen by my attending these services often.

I would have to say Charlotte Church... She's abit loud and foul mouthed but i don't think i could say no ;)
As for a proper answer to your question... I'm not religious, although i do go to church sometimes... But i'm not a hypocrite... Each to their own is my philosophy :)

For me, the "church", as you call it, is anywhere that Spirit exists. And Spirit ('GOD'), exists in ALL living things, therefore this 'church' you speak of is everywhere in nature and all around us, all the time, every day. Very very few are aware of that though.
