In the name of ALLAH, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alaihi Wa-aalay wa sallam) said:
When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer(names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, "He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case.
If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise".
Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, "I am the Qur'aan,
which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low
voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you
will have no grief. When the interrogation is over, the handsome man
arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) a silk
bedding filled with musk.
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alaihi Wa-aalay wa sallam) said:
"On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other intercessor will have a
greater status than the Qura'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel."
Please keep forwarding this "Hadith" to all ....because Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu alaihi Wa-aalay wa sallam) said:
"Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse".
May Allah bestow this favour on all of us.

Allah knows best which of his slaves are devoted to his worship, may we be of those whom Allah is pleased with.
Jazaakallah Khairan sister for this reminder. May we all dedicate more time to al Qur'an ul Kareem.

Okay, I read it all. Now what am I supposed to do ? I have to admit that I have never seen an angel. Another thing that gets by me is that you claim someone is trying to interrogate the dead man. Isn't it a little too late for that ?
I'm an avid reader, and have read many "holy" books, but this "angel" business, and dead people talking spoils the whole story for me.

JazakAllah. The Hadith is: A time is prophesied when just to recite the Kalimah aloud shall be a daring act-of-jehad.They are already at you for the veil and the beard and the madrassah, using foul words for the sacred and the holy.Keep your steadfastness for reward in the hereafter.Donot be dismayed.Deen is spreading despite all that clamour.Keep going on sirat e mustaqeem.

I appreciate that this is your faith perhaps or you are simply doing a translation.
i'm always against any idea of punishment and judgement, i find it sits uneasily with humanity.
That's why i'm a non believer. Show me god - any so called god and i will ask him- why did you create us only to judge and condemn us? The exact things that most religions are about not doing, yet the gods they pray to are all about fear and death.
if i was a god i would not have created death. so even if any of these gods exist i would say i do not worship you as you are not worth it because your creation is so cruel- what would happen? the god might kill me- oh well- bullies never win!
I am only airing my point of view like you have yours.

I love all the Qur'aanic texts, I don't know why, they just seem beautiful to me. I also love the sound of the Mosque/Ù
سجد/Masjid calling in the morning, the voice of the muezzin hypnotizes me. I also love how the text is written in the Qur'aan, it is written with such care! Thanks for sharing this Hadith!

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.
Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible
Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2
1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment
11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction
