For those who want to answer...no because Muhammad is a false Prophet, remember that is what the Jews say about Jesus.

'Verily, (many) Messengers were denied before you (O Muhammad SAW), but with patience they bore the denial, and they were hurt, till Our Help reached them, and none can alter the Words (Decisions) of Allâh. Surely there has reached you the information (news) about the Messengers (before you).'
(Qur'an 6:34)

'Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers,
On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allâh's religion of Islâmic Monotheism).
(This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful
In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless' (Qur'an 36:3-6)

No, I cannot say that I do really see much in the way of parallels. Jesus' response to others rejection of his message was meek self-sacrifice - "No greater love has a man than to lay down his life for his friends." He took up no sword in his own cause, but told his disciple Peter, "those who live by the sword, die by the sword." Instead, Jesus' shield and sword were his own lifeblood, given on the cross as a gift to all who would receive it.

Mohammed's response to the rejection of his message - my impression anyway, and I don't mean to offend - was to basically pout in Medina for a few years and raid caravans. Then, when he had the military strength, he invaded and conquered Mecca, and settled some scores.

I recognize that there are many differences in the two religions: Christianity is more often a personal religion, where Islam does not distinguish between Mosque and State, so a prophet who takes on the role of activist and freedom fighter may make some sense to a religion that does not see politics and civic life as a separate entity.

But do realize that we Christians put a lot of stock in Jesus' words, "By their fruits shall you know them." Mohammed bore a very different kind of fruit - rather than the religion of the interior heart that Jesus advocated, the externally-focused teachings of Mohammed are so totally different a kind of spirituality that, for me personally - it just doesn't resonate with anything that to me is reminiscent of my Christian faith.

It is really only among the Sufis that I see something I recognize. I look for the fruit of Christ when I look to people who represent good examples to me - people to follow and believe. For me, Mohammed is not a step forward from the great treatise of the Sermon on the Mount. He is a different path on a different direction, and at a time when I am looking to deepen my Christian walk, that direction just isn't a good one for me.

I follow Jesus. As your own prophet says, "To you, your way, and to me mine."

The Jews denied Jesus because they were looking for a king that would rule. They believe the Messiah will come as ruler.
Most Jews haven't read Isaiah 53. Someday they will definitely believe in the same Jesus a Christain does.
Jesus came humbly as a loving servant, savior and as the son of God.

Mohammed is another thing he put his own thoughts together when he was on earth he had an aggressive way and did not express himself in love and service.

No. Unbelieving Jews refuse to see that Jesus Christ (Yeshua) fulfills all the requirements as Messiah. Believing Jews, known as Messianic Jews, accept Jesus.

On the other hand, Jesus told us HE is the ONLY way to God the Father; He also warned us that many false prophets would come after Him and deceive many into believing they were greater; we were also told that we should look at that person's "fruit" to see what kind of person he or she is.

Jesus' teachings enable Christians to see that Mohammed is a false prophet; moreover, his "fruit" (anti-Semitism, anti-Christian, and warmongering) is bad. Since good fruit cannot come from a bad tree, Mohammed's teachings must be resisted.

No. There is no parallel. Muhammad was not a prophet. He was a false prophet that taught a false message and founded a false religion that made converts by the sword.

Jesus, on the other hand, is the Messiah, promised to Israel, but rejected by them. Why? Because they traditionalized, instututionalized and taught the commandments of men rather than the commandments of God.

They also distorted the nature of the Messiah and looked for a political Messiah rather than a spiritual one. So, "...He came unto His own, and His own received Him not, but to as many as received Him, to them He gave the right become the children of God, even to those who believe on His name..." (John 1:11).

We reject Mohammad because he was a Johnny-come-lately, and he was false. There is only one Savior of the world, and that's Jesus Christ.

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction

Jesus says "I am the Son of God" (John 10:36) Muhammad says that God has no need of a son. Someone is greatly mistaken. I am persuaded it is not Jesus.

I see a direct parallel between the Pharasees saying that Jesus could not be the Son of God, and Mohammad saying Jesus could not be the Son of God. Either way, both Mohammad and the Jews who had Jesus crucified think Jesus was a liar. Mohammad even goes so far as to change the story of the crucifixion, and says it never even happened. That's how bold Mohammad was when it came to changing the Bible to suit his own beliefs. Either Jesus was right, or Mohammad was right. 35% of the world choose to believe Jesus was telling the truth, vs the 20% of the world who calls Jesus a liar.

Prophets in the Old Testament foresaw the coming of the Messiah. I honestly and respectfully do not see where another prophet (Muhammad) was supposed to come and reveal further truth.

NONE... Jesus IS God... when He walked this earth it was in mortal flesh born a Jew..... IMO(in my opionion),muhammad was nothing but a petty warlord with delusions of grandure who made up a bunch of BS and managed to deceive, or threaten with death, enough people to make himself a tidy bunch. when he died a bunch of other ego maniacs took over and made themselves the power mongering leaders and forced even more to subbmit to them. Untill today...IMO...now, islam is the greatest evil facing the world.
