Why do Jihadists believe they should kill non-believers of Allah?

What if a Christian decided to kill everyone who did not believe like him? Would he be called a terrorist also?

who said they believe this,well! true Jihadist only fight against those who killed them without reason,who made them suffer without cause....as this is what Jihad in literal meaning is!! fight but fight for self right,slef defence.Islam never supported attacking innocent ppl...and who are doing it in the name of Islam,are actually disobeying "laws of equality,tolerance,and right of humanity n justice" u can call them terrorists,but not jihadists.these are totally different terms..

To kill has two ways to be interpretred. One is to kill the person physically because he is the enemy that may threathen your life as he may do the same thing to you.
The other is to kill the very essence that makes one your enemy and that is his difference to your belief, to what you stand for is true.
The first one is the easiest to understand and easiest to do and that is what most early religions have done to the world. Catholics and Other Older religions have gone into that age including the Islamic believers whom until now a small percent of them still live in that era.
Those that have gone to maturity are now more inclined to do the evangelization through an act of mercy and spreading love all over the world. Those that have not grown up still believe that God is beside them and still the one guiding them to live and die by the sword in pursuit of heavenly kingdom.
With the overwhelming success of evil through deceptions on both sides of wisdom we have learned, The God has cursed the world and that is the reason why we are experiencing all the things we have here everywhere.

Let me explain the word "Jihad" to you...."Jihad" is derived from "Johd", the Arabic meaning for effort..."Jihad" is not killing others, it's the effort people make to satisfy God and follow the teachings of Islam in a correct way..For example, waking up early to pray is "Jihad" or Effort...Driving to the mosque at the far end of the city is "Jihad" or Effort....and God rewards those who "go the extra mile" for Him

Because they are ignorant little boys that feel powerful by killing, especially by ruthlessness such as beheadings etc. For the shock & awe effect so they can try to overcome their insecurities . The Jihad THAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD TODAY IS NOT JIHAD. This is a common misconception among people who are not Muslim. Please understand that in Islam it is the most heinous crime to kill someone. I do not know the exact verse in the Qu'ran, forgive me but it is something on the lines of

"If you kill one person in this world, it is as if you killed everyone in the world"

Christian who are real will not resort to killing those who believe different than them. Radical Islam is the people who believe that you must become one of them or be put to death. Most Muslims don't use violence to convert people to their way of belief.
