I dreamed that I somehow was able to see her writing her journal, and she had read a verse from the Bible (I don't think that verse in my dream is actually in the Bible) which had made her question whether she would go to heaven. She was horrified and cried and cried at the terrible realization that she would go to hell.

The "verse" which she had read was something like this:
"Those who _______ cannot be considered my children and will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven." I can't remember what filled in the blank. But it was something not very bad at all. And so far as I know, nothing like it is in the actual Bible.

What could this mean? Why would I dream that?

my sex life/love life is non-existant. should I do a lust spell, love spell, a "glamor" to get noticed better, or just wait for the Goddess to bless me with what I need?

I'm asking because of possible three fold law issues

There is lots in the bible about giving away wealth. Jeusus said it was easier for a rich man to pass through the eye of a needle than to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. How can anyone at the same time call themselves Christian and live in luxury while children starve to death because of poverty in the world.

Of course rich people can attend dinners where the rich can meet the rich and famous, proceeds to charity of course but that may be more about meeting idols, social climbing or salving conscience and getting tax breaks than real concern for humanity.

Doesn't a true Christian have to give all wealth to the poor and keep only what is absolutely necessary. Rolex, Cartier and Mercedes Benz do not qualify as necessary by the way.

How can people follow evangelists who are live in luxury from donations which could feed entire African villages for years.

He's always referencing the Koran ... like in "Israfel" & "Aaraaf" ... and he also seem to be Christian in many of his other pieces like 'The Tell tale Heart' or 'The Premature Burial' ... dunno.

The bible says: Mark 15:34… “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice saying ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?’ –which is being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, behold, he calleth Elias…”

Now I’m supposing that this was said in Hebrew or Aramaic. Since these were the languages spoken at the time why would people not understand what Jesus was really saying? Why would they think that he was calling Elijah?

Also, does this calling have any special interpretation or was The Lord simple trying to recite the 22nd Psalm, when in his HUMAN nature, his strength failed him?

Don’t you think it should really stand out if it were truly inspired by an omniscient god? You would think he (god) could have thrown in something truly remarkable and meaningful. If god really cared he could have included something that would have really been earth shaking. Maybe like an accurate description of the solar system or some form of worthwhile morality (genocide and slavery are not the higher ground). Instead we have a moral code that is pretty immoral and a bunch of stories that were borrowed from a bunch of earlier civilization.

So what is the deal?

Jesus walked on earth 2000 years ago, He had no knowledge of the part of the world that we now know as the U.S.A.

the U.S.A. was discovered in 1492, that's a long time after Jesus walked on earth.

yet, at least 50 times a day i hear the sentence "God bless the USA". When exactly did or does He do that ?

I was raised as a Catholic, by default. Both of my parents were Irish immigrant stock. I always wondered why anyone would say alleluia. I never wanted to say it. It struck me as corny and disingenuous. You know, the way americans say "ciao," when they think they are being cool. It seemed foreign and pretentious. There is'nt even a consensus over the spelling: that is how foreign it is.

Tell me three things you think about Muslims and please don't use profanity.

This question was very similarly asked before today, and I was really surprised that the majority of answers was very positive and there was really no one who used profanity in the answer. Well it was so early the day that I think most Americans were probably still in bed (I live in Europe, there is a time difference of 6-9 hours).
Now at a time that probably a lot of Americans are here, will the question be answered in similar way? I notice that whenever I check this website later the day I see more hatred against Muslims. Or is this a wrong perception?
It is just my impression, tell me if I am wrong, I will change my opinion if you show me otherwise.

I have a very simple assertion. We know that no one can have complete knowledge, knowledge about everything in this world and things beyond it. Those of us who are students know very well that even in a particular field of study, it is almost impossible to attain complete knowledge of that field.

What this implies is that, when you are confused about something you don't know, you should go to the people who have the relevant knowledge. Fortunately, its so easy in this age, because of Internet and media. Sometimes one doesn't even have to ask for things.

But this raises another issue. While easy access to information is great, at the same time it has the potential to spread propaganda at much faster pace than before. The good thing, however, is that because one can look for all points of view on a certain topic, if one is sincere in their search, they can find what is true or what has more probability of being true.

Although that is certainly acceptable. Yesterday my husband and I were driving home from a Dr's appt when we heard this really strange noise in the van. We found a really big hole in the engine later.
So we bought another van and when the insurance agent asked me how we managed to make it home, all I could say was the Lord was really with us.
That's all I could think of and that's all I've been able to come up with since too.

I hate church and it's a personal choice of mine not to believe what they believe. I'm 16 but they tell me that I have no choice but to go with them and pray and worship and all that other crap. I think that it's my decision to go to church or not and my choice to believe what I want to believe.
