Today I woke up, and opened this forum, and this is what happened.
The christians said to the Atheists I love you my brother since we are connected to the same source, in which the muslims followed the same example, and everyone put down their weapons. The Wiccans, and the Pagans came about, and brought them flowers, and braclets made of tree bark. The Athesists said to his fellow man, I love you, and I live my life to do good for others. The buddhists, the philosophers, the scientists, everyone, and every religion agreed that they loved each other, and did not say that heaven was only their exclusive right. And the Satanists came upon, and saw the love of acceptance, and indeed was accepted as well. It was a joyous day with love, aceeptance, and the lack of judgement. Where everyone agreed that this was the only way.
Now I wonder what should we call this place that I woke up to today?

You are the endless sea
In whom all the worlds like waves
Naturally rise and fall.

You have nothing to win,
Nothing to lose.
Child,
You are pure awareness,
Nothing less.

You and the world are one.

So who are you to think
You can hold on to it,
Or let it go?

How could you!

I am a touch atheistic myself, but these people who insist that their beliefs, whether religious or atheistic, are absolutely true, always bug me: if atheists are completely sure that god doesn't exist and form organizations of people with that belief, shouldn't these organizations be considered churches and therefore not be allowed to influence the government under the seperation of church and state?

Everytime I have a question about, for example, why "God" allows little children suffering from starvation, most religious people refer to "God's Plan".

I can't wait to ask him. When I finally die I get to ask "God" about the holocaust, kids in africa who die from aids, tsunami's, 650,000 deaths in Iraq, etc, etc...I will ask him: "why God why???"

And he will explain his plan. "God"s Plan. Yay!

I will probably answer him with "Oh, that's all? It wasn't all that bad then! Thank you "God", awesome Plan, dude!"

Right?

Look I understand the need to answer, but is it necessary to take up space with scripture after scripture, and avoid the question all together, and think that you are making your point with something that I feel you can quote, but not live by. I am sorry, but normally i respect everyones beliefs, but today too many Christians have been absolutely very judgemental today, and I feel am I am tired as well, which leads to frustration.

my favorate little line from christians and muslims alike is.
"all religions claim to be the true religion"

now i dont believe that line for crap because i never hear a hindhu claim they are the true religion. i never hear a buddhist or daoist say they are the true religion. i never hear a spiritualist say they are the true religion. i never hear any religion outside of christianity or its 34,000 other sects of it. i always hear muslims say they are the true religion as well but i dont see why you people would say such a thing. i mean if the other 348 other religions in the world dont make such a claim then why do you people claim that???

no religion is the true religion period. everyone has the right to there own religion but its YOU CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS THAT ENFORCE YOUR BELIEFS. no one else does it.

Islam marches on two legs. One leg is represented by the Islamic apologists: those who call themselves doctors and write in good English painting a rosy picture of Islam and claiming it to be a “religion of peace”. The tools of these so-called “intellectuals” are lies and deceit. The terrorists represent the other leg. This group executes the second phase of Islamic expansionism. Though an unwary person may think that these two groups are antagonist to each other, in reality they are part of the same plan and indeed are two faces of the same coin and very much interdependent.

Ok, here's my question...how does someone have so much trust in God and Jesus that they don't even question his existence...even if there is information which contradicts the idea and says that God never existed. How can anyone put that much trust into someone/something they have never seen or had proof of existing?
