I think so. I am not mormon, but I know there is a website created by the mormon church that will tell you what they believe in their own words. www.lds.org
Like I said, I am not so much into their beliefs, but I feel that the best place to get information on what someone believes is to ask the people who believe it. I have learned that if you ask those who think the beliefs are stupid, you will get stupid answers from them.

Yes. Mormons believe that God, like Christ, has an actual physical body and as such must reside on some kind of planet as he obviously does not seem to be here. Supposedly the name of this planet, Kolob, came through revelation. However, it should be pointed out that this belief, although brought about by a prophet, is not regarded to be "scripture" by the church at large.
Regarding the second question. Also, yes. The LDS church believes that God's plan for his spirit children to to raise them to be Gods similar to himself. Our life on Earth is basical a school in which we learn certain lessons & responsibilities.

Yes - what you said is the Mormon religion. The Mormon god is the father of Satan, a polygamist man who exalted himself to godhood and lives on some far away planet near "Kolob".
Lucifer is the Mormon temple god who instructs the Mormons to invoke his priesthod and powers to become their own gods in defiance of God and Christianity.
Isaiah 14:12-15
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Please ask yourself, "Why do I ask this question?" Is it a sincere desire to know, or is it designed to try to make fun of the Mormon Church? If the latter, why do you find it necessary to attack the beliefs of others? Why are you so insecure in your own beliefs? Do you follow the admonition of Jesus to do unto others as you would have them do unto you?

Why dont you ask one of our missionaries to teach the discussions to you so you know its coming from US and not anti mormons? www.lds.org
Kolob is a planet, as the solar system is MASSIVE. Why is this so hard to beleive?
Take the time to talk with a member of the church in person and see for yourself.
Take care!!

Here is what the Pearl of Great Price says about "Kolob"
And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me, for I am the Lord thy God: I have set this one to govern all those which belong to the same order as that upon which thou standest.
4 And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord, according to its times and seasons in the revolutions thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord’s time, according to the reckoning of Kolob.
• • •
9 And thus there shall be the reckoning of the time of one planet above another, until thou come nigh unto Kolob, which Kolob is after the reckoning of the Lord’s time; which Kolob is set nigh unto the throne of God, to govern all those planets which belong to the same border as that upon which thou standest.
• • •
16 If two things exist, and there be one above the other, there shall be greater things above them; therefore Kolob is the greatest of all the Kokaubeam that thou hast seen, because it is nearest unto me.
Abr. 5: 13
13 But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the time that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. Now I, Abraham, saw that it was after the Lord’s time, which was after the time of Kolob; for as yet the Gods had not appointed unto Adam his reckoning
So Kolob is more of a time reference for us...not necessarily the place where God lives...but what is closest to him that we might know his time table.

Yes they do. Or at least they should. But some 'passive' mormons haven't really read the book they're supporting and scarsely know some of its more comical ideals. Much like 'passive' christians.
