for some reason i've been having this urge to go to church, i tihnk it's to reconnect with God in a more deeper level. outside of church i dress conservatively so inside i would do the same of course! for sunday mass tomorrow I'm going to have dressy jeans and a dress red shirt with nice heels...my mother, i call her the old woman, said that it's too loose! that i should wear skirts! wasnt my outfit appropriate? thank you!

Women used to be expected to wear skirts or dresses as well as a hat! Today pants including jeans are fine. Your outfit sounds very nice

some church's are old fasioned and some people are to yes your outfit is appropriate i think it doesn't matter the clothes you wear God is looking at your Spirit not what your body is wearing or looks like what is important is what is in your heart soul and mind if people had to wait until they had something fancy to wear to church they may never go. come just as you are is how i believe.

Many women dress in jeans these days for Mass so you will definitely not be out of place.

Each church can be different with regard to acceptable dress.
Visit the church in conservative attire to see what is OK there.

shure dress and skirt is more suitable in the church when u go in pants god won't be listnening to u
