I have a Christian friend and she is very religious, she reads bible every day and know a lot about Christianity, she goes to church every Sunday. Nevertheless, she shocked me about her idea of becoming a Muslim. She told me that Muslims has one book for all Muslims and all genders, not like the bible, which there are different versions of it. When I read the translation of Muslim book really I do feel that it is from our God the words entered my heart, I don't know why. I felt that Muslims have a serious goal that in their not like me, I am goaless. I felt that my friend changed a lot, her attitudes and her respect to her parent. She is very convinced about it. I really love the way that she took, but I am still mulling the idea over. I want to be happy as she is now. I don’t know I feel that she is in the right path.

O.K. here is a challege for all you fundies, others who don't think evolution is a reality.
List 5 pieces of evidence against evolution...just 5.
Oh, and it must be current evidence, from a scientific scource that has been peer reviewed, so information for the Discovery Institute, or any other creationism web-sites don't count.
And please don't quote Behe.
Halo's or chilarity.
again if you want to disprove a scientific theory you need to use peer reviewed scientific data.

If god loves us so much then why didn't he just forgive humans just like that (just like he grants our wishes), without physically coming down to earth and punish himself for us? If God really wants to lay mercy on to us then why can't he just do it staying in heaven. Is it not that when God says "Be" and it is?

seriously, I have never sinned .
estrangement from god (There is no God, so no sin)
an act that is regarded by theologians as a transgression of God's will
Sin has been a term most usually used in a religious context, and today describes any lack of conformity to the will of God; especially, any willful disregard for the norms revealed by God is a sin. (Since God hasn't revealed anything how can I have sinned against him?)

What does it mean? I've heard people talking about eating Kosher and I know it has something to do with the Hebrew religion but that's all I do know. I don't understand the rest of it? Do you?
If a food is Kosher, is it the brand name or a type of diet?

John seems to say the day before
19:14-16
And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified.

And Mark, the day after
Mark 14:12
And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
15:25
And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

My boyfriend and I want to go to a party tonight, of course with alcohol, but we aren't 21, and even though we aren't driving, we're wondering if we should or not? How do ya think God sees that? Just as bad as smoking pot?

even is one.
In the Bible, in 2 Kings, ch 2, vs 23 and 24. I've never really understood this. I know the kids were making fun of Elisha for being bald but..
bears? Isn't that a little extreme?

Athesists: Do NOT try to tell me how my religion of faith is false or you will be reported! Keep it to yourself!

Only thinking answers please, no scripture or flaming.

And please, think outside the "to worship god" box.

Can anybody counter the argument that God did it for self-fufilling needs of veneration? It seem to me that is the purpose given to us, worship him or hell awaits.

So why would God create a planet of people for the sole purpose of worship only? Seems rather egotistical

He had three doctorate degrees (Philosophy, Theology, and Medicine). In theology, his work is known for historical studies of the New Testament. His work in philosophy, involved Neitzsche and St. Francis of Assisi into an ethical stance on respect for life. His work in medicine took him to Africa, treating thousands of people, many with leprosy. He also was an accomplished organist and became a well known interpreter of Bach by reassessing the composers religious intentions. CD's of his performances are still available.
