All bad is from Satan, is what i always hear..that includes diseases.

If that's true, then why do Christians get flu-shot? These shots contain a small amount of the flu-virus, to help the body to produce anti-bodies.

Isn't the flu coming from God, because it helps you to stay healthy. Who created diseases? God or Satan?

Try to confuse you at times?

There is not one person on this earth that 100% agrees with every opinion, feeling or belief of any other person.

what is respect? to me it is:
showing respect starts with truly listening to what a person has to say, and is followed with truly thinking about what a person has to say, before responding.

when a person challenges my beliefs on whatever subject, it means that he listened to my ideas and has thought about it.

as i said:there is not one person in this world which we 100% agree with on every subject. Therefor: truly challenging a persons beliefs and disagreeing with a person can be one of the biggest forms of respect anybody can offer that person.

however, when i challenge religious persons, they ask me to show respect for their beliefs.

seems like a contradiction to me.

why is it that religions actually don't wanna be treated with respect, but they wanna be handled with the silk glove that silently whispers 'yes i agree' ????

Is Saint Paul Jewish? If hes Jewish then he might get the idea told by Jewish the "ONE" God theory. Then He gave the idea of Trinity not to confuse but to explain the birth of JESUS. Am i right to say that?

I was thinking today, about what abortion really is...

I mean it is ending a life that isn't really the mothers life. She shares it with a child that contains half of her DNA, but it is still not her. So I went and thought even deeper, my little brother and I share some DNA, and well I don't really like him, so I think I am going to abort him. Is that okay?

I mean even though he is 17 years old, he can still be killed off right? I mean its better than letting him live through the hard things in life right? I mean sure he can have a life, but it could be bad, and if it is bad isnt it better to just off him now before it gets worse? Yes ? No? And if thats the case why dont we all just slit our wrists before life gets too bad?

Abortion for any reason is bad. The mother may not be at fault in some cases of pregnency(rape, ect.) but should she kill the child because she doesnt want it, or because it will be uncomfortable for her.

I have done some reading and I can't get over the ideas of a celestial waiting room, a dedication of a personal planet for those who are really extra-special good, and the Origins of Poligamy within some sects.

When things go well people are often seen embracing the beattitudes (turn the other cheek, walk a mile with them, give them your cloak and your shirt, et cetera...); however, as they are crossed or angered they swich to "eye for an eye" and "Lord, strike down mine enimies", etc.? Does this seem focused on self rather than Word?

Have you wondered what reason God had to create this earth (if that is what in fact happened), then to create life such that humans eventually evolved, gave them free will to make decisions, and then let all hell break loose on earth. With of course the expectation that we would all want to love God and live to serve him, etc. What is the point? Is this supposed to be some kind of game for him? Why did he bother? I wish I understood, but I don't, and when I see all the pain, suffering, evil, etc., I wonder - why??????

Corinthians 2 6:14 states: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers". Aren't Christians that follow this rather dubious book compelled to leave since they are well aware that there are plenty of unbelievers on here?

Seriously, I know that it says in the Bible (sorry I'll use Christianity as an example) to convert people who arent Christian. But why still do it in this day and age when it can cause so much trouble?
A lot of Christians get angry if they simply hear what my religion is, yet they expect us to listen and except theres with open arms.
I am not trying to say that all Christians do this, but some do.
I guess I'm trying to say why push your religion on others, would you really like it if others pushed their religion on you?
I mean no disrespect, its just that I cannot imagine telling someone they are lost without my faith and that they should convert. I wouldnt push my religion on anyone, I will discuss it openly if people ask but not try and sell it to them.
Any thoughts?
