I believe there is a God and I believe in a need for spiritually, but I don't know if I believe in religion. Religion seems to divide people rather then unite them.

Of course I do, indeed I don't know how do atheists believe that there's no God, this marvelous existence must have a great creator.

And if you mean believing in religion, disregarding believing in God, it's also logical because if there's a God and creator for this universe, then He is the most suitable one to put a system for people to take in this life to be successful, happy and right doing in this life and the other one.
This's most like a situation when you buy an appliance, for example, when you buy it you have with it a catalog made by the MANUFACTURER of the appliance as he is the best one who know his product and how it works and how it can be maintained.

I believe in what religions are supposed to teach, but don't. Spiritual growth and understanding. Most people have no clue how to go about this and the church doesn't teach it. Having faith is only a first step. There are numerous commandments which outline what must be done...As is stated, "The Law of Moses is for sinners." There is a new law. Love your neighbor as yourself." But for growth, each of those commandments must be followed and by so doing have that much more understanding to go on to the next one.

what exactly do you mean to ask? your question is ambiguous. it can either mean:

1. do you believe that religion exists?

or

2. do you believe that religion is true?

yes to the first question (obviously), and no to the second.

p.s. --- all these people who answer with "i don't believe in religion, just in god" don't seem to understand that if you believe in god, then you are religious by definition. -- i really think we need to call these people out when they play this card. they need to own up to their guilty charges.
