There is no reason for you to believe anything that you do not feel convicted to believe. If you have read it for yourself and found it to be lacking in truth for you then so be it. Your mind is your own and no one can brain rape you into believing something you do not wish to believe.

You cannot just believe it. You have to read it and pray about it. Then you will know it to be true. You should do these things because it is vital for you to accept Jesus as your personal savior. Only then can you have eternal life. You cannot do this without knowing the Bible is truth. I pray that you will come to Jesus and inherit eternal life. I pray that you will know the joy that so many believers have known in having Jesus live in their hearts.

The objective is not to believe but to know,
thereby be free of believe-ing every spirit.

Ye shall know the truth,
the truth shall make you free.

Scriptures in the Bible are often contrary. Eg:
-I will forsake you, the city, your fathers: Law(Enmity)
-I will never leave thee nor forsake thee: Grace(Friend)
If God both, approach cautious, lest having a f-you day.
Christ is our peace who hath abolished the enmity(law).

Bible defines itself as "allegory" and "mystery".
So it's obviously an allegoric mystery to solve.
It's written aforetime for our learning: Rom 15.

What does I will have mercy, not sacrifice means.
It means that God will have grace, and not law.
And the not part is not then, not now, not ever.
For God never desired sacrifice for sin.
Nor did God ever take pleasure in it.

But don't believe me, for I could be lying.
Try(Test Drive) the Spirits(Gods) yourself.
I tried Law, found it wasn't sufficient, tried Grace.
I found Grace is sufficient, so then I flushed Law.
For both a mixture of contrary things: oxy-moron.
And contrary things cannot co-exist, not in peace.
Hence the Bible ends not with both, but with one:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

You should only believe in things that feels right for you, not because some one said you should.

There are many different relions out there to choose from, take time and check them all out.
You may find one right for you or you may not.

Just don't rush into anything you may regret later.

Good luck on your journey.

Blessed Be.

Well, there are many reasons. I'll give you one. Isaiah, in his prophecies in the 8th century predicted His virgin birth, even His name. He also predicted His death by crucifixion 2000 years before the Romans came up with that kind of torture/execution. Isaiah predicted a lot more than this, and his writings were well known at the time of Jesus' birth. Jesus quoted Isaiah.

Why? Who proved it to you? Don't you believe some things that wern't told to you simply as "true"?
