Where does the feeling of awe come from? Where does the love we have for others come from? Where do we find the place that makes us want to do something to make it a better world? It might be the head or the heart. It might be the scriptures. But it's something even a little child can have, and it can be felt by anyone in any part of the world. So it's universal, and comes from within us.

My Mind, because the heart is merely an extension of the mind. The same hting goes for the soul. If the soul is capable of being incapacitated by local anesthesia then it must be an element of the mind. Scriptures? haha

Everybody follows their heart -- even if they say mind, the mind thinks according to what the heart desires. And if someone answers "scriptures," it's because their desire also brings them to that.
Everything originates from the heart, from the desire.

I follow the taoist teachings, and basically that is that the spirit is a spark that flows from from one body to the next, that is at birth the spirit enters a body to gain energy and remains with that body until it, the body , is wasted,then joins other spirits in the play ground of the universe until nearly exhausted at that time seeks another body, on an on an on.
