What kind of help do you need? Where have you tried? How many priests or ministers have said they can't help you? Did you go asking for money? Many years ago, churches used to give out money to help with needs, but too many people abused that system so they really had to stop. Most churches can offer some assistance, such as grocery vouchers or taking your family to the local women's shelter if you have no place to stay, etc, but they have good reasons for not handing out money anymore. Many churches have a group of people that can help with various things. In my church, they're called deacons and that's their assigned task: helping with needs. They don't give money either, of course, but can help with other things. Please ask again. Try a Salvation Army or a Catholic Church if you have one nearby. In larger areas, both these organizations are well-structured to help with needs. Some can even help you find low-cost professional services, if that's what you need.

And please, before you go, pray seriously about it. See if this really is the way God wants to provide for you in this instance, since everything really does come from Him. Ask Him what He wants you to do about your need, and then sit quietly and try your best to listen. We humans aren't very good at that part, so we need to work at it. See what He has to say. Put your trust in Him, not in His servants, who are human and often fail (myself included.)

Yes, people out there will help you if they know what you need. Just because one person said no, don't stop asking for help. Call all the churchs in your city and tell them what you need. Many people are just waiting to find out how they can reach out to help other people. Don't give up.
