ALLAH — for Muslims the greatest and most inclusive of the Names of God, an Arabic word of rich and varied meaning, denoting the one who is adored in worship, who creates all that exists, who has priority over all creation, who is lofty and hidden, who confounds all human understanding. It is exactly the same word as, in Hebrew, the Jews use for God (eloh), the word which Jesus Christ used in Aramaic when he prayed to God. God has an identical name in Judaism, Christianity and Islam; Allah is the same God worshipped by Muslims, Christians and Jews.

"He is God, the One God,
Independent and Sought by all;
He begets not, nor is He begotten,
and there is none like unto Him.
(The Holy Qur'an Chapter of Sincerity of Faith)

What do you think will happen when oil becomes irrelevant to the world economy?
Let’s face it. Whether we like it or not our economy is critically dependant on petroleum products. As a result we have a vested interest in securing oil deposits in often hostile areas such as the Middle East. The fact is though as this product is limited in supply (even if we develop better extraction technology). Eventually as the supply drops the price will go up until we will switch to another source of energy. That will eventually happen if not 50 years from now it will be in 100.

My question is what will happen to places like the Middle East when we no longer have a vested interest. Will we still care when there is conflict or in all honestly will we do as much as we do when millions of people are killing themselves in sub Sahara Africa.

be nice
and truthfull

For me it's a few people being rude in answering question, when your negative, it tends to draw it from the other person to be negative, I am done with that, I feel I am grown up now, not perfect, but feel if everyone had Jesus attitude, positive, kind, we'll all be one happy family:)

I am an Atheist. This question is obviously absurd. I don't believe in God let alone hate God.

Just looking to see what reactions this question gets. There are people who actually *believe* atheists hate God.

We know that the Bible instructs us about how to do many of the works we carry out as Christians. It tells us how to worship, how to become a member of God's family, and how to carry ourselves as Christians. We are also told to avoid certain things, such as lying, idolatry, and fornication. These all refer to works a Christian should or should not do.

Am I right about it? What do you think?

Half of the questions i read here, are about sins. Specially premarital sex, adultery and homosexuality are big sinfull items according to many religious people here in the religious section.

If all those sexual acts are such a big problem, wouldn't it have been much smarter to create sex as a short and painfull act, and the act of giving birth as a nice pleasant experience without pain?
