WOW another crazy person, just like meeee :) really tho u just made me feel allot better by asking this question! cuz I wonder that too, most of the time. (I grew up Catholic and I do believe they have warped my mind) Actually to the point where I just give up on religion for the most part because if I think about it too much I know I will go crazy for real. I just try and be the best person I can be and always do what I KNOW FOR SURE is the right thing to do, and try not to pay attention to all the other stuff.... And when I do start to think to much I always remember "The Kingdom Of God Is Inside Of Me" It helps me to just deal. instead of getting caught up in all the other bullshit.

It's your conscious/subconscious mind. You have a sense of "right" or "wrong" already. If you like, when you hear those words in your mind, think of what feels "right" to you as God's voice, if it feels "wrong" then think of it as Satan's voice (since that is the most comfortable thing for you that you can identify with). But, ultimately, YOU have the choice to choose between which path is right or wrong. There are no wrong paths or choices, just bad ones - and we ALL need to take them as part of life's learning process. Always go with your heart and listen to your intuition. God and Satan are the different sides of "human nature", the continual conflict between right and wrong, and the positive and negative aspects of life. So you are in a conflict between what's right and what's wrong for YOU, allowing your fears to control you and hold you back in life.

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. -Galatians 5:16

well if the thoughts are against what God says in the Bible, then it probably is the devil. If not, & these thoughts are pure & right then it is probably God. But if you are still not totally sure than just continue to pray about it. If you think it is the devil just repeat this out loud "In Jesus Christ's name Satan I rebuke you!" It's not some random chant, when satan or demons hear the name of Jesus Christ they will flee in fear, for only God can destroy them.

Anything that violates the intent of Holy Scripture is suspect. Anything that does harm to you or to others is likely the devil. There are, however, three sources of sin: the world, the flesh, and the devil. All three must be carefully monitored.

A preacher once said, If your going to be wrong be wrong in the right direction". If you know that something you are fixing to do pleases God and it will uplift him then do it. Cause satan sure wouldn't want you to do that. If you know that what you are about to do may displease God then don't do that cause that is satan wanting you to go aganist God.

My best advice is to not let your parents brain wash you anymore. They already lied to you about Santa and the Easter Bunny. I think it's time for you to just get over this phase. Don't listen to the preast either, they're just trying to get in your pants.

The Devil does not exist. Neither does the Loch Ness Monster.
