Oh you know we women are always asking "why, why why??" Like why can't we eat that awesome fruit? Why do you want to attack your neighbors? Why do you want to build all those bombs? We are considered the first "sinners" because we are always asking you men why you do all that stuff.

Silly inquisitive women. Stop asking why and listen and do as your told! What a message.

The Bible states that Adam was held responsible for the sin, even though Eve tasted of the Forbidden Fruit first. Romans 5:12 states - "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man (Adam), and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned....."

I have always heard the original sinner was a certain fallen angel, orginally called Lucifer, later dubbed Satan. He supposedly was behind the talking serpent that deceived Eve. Of course, we don't find that out till the last book in the Bible.

Why does the Bible convict Woman as the original sinner? Well, it doesn't. She comes in 2nd. As old Walter Cronkite used to say (when I was a kid), "that's the way it is."

No, you've misunderstood what the Bible says regarding this issue.

The Bible tells us at Romans 5:12 that Adam is the one who brought death and sin into the world; Eve, on the other hand, was mislead into eating the fruit. Also, the Bible makes it clear that God gave this warning to Adam, not to Eve; Adam was responsible for telling Eve, which he did. But when Satan tempted them, Adam did not step forward to stop Eve from eating.

Peace.

In the old testament Woman was cursed as she tempted Adam and drew him away from God. After Jesus came, that was no longer the case and we are no longer born under original sin. All of that was washed by the blood of the lamb.

You don't know your Bible very well do you? Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one MAN sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--

Because of the goddess concept. Women used to be worshipped and revered as the founts and origins of all life. The world used to be goddess centered, not god centered.

The male population took exception to that so, when the chance came, they created a religion that demonized women and turned them into little more than chattel.

The men who altered the Old Testament in 500 BC transformed Abrahamic religion into a male-dominated patriarchy. Originally, both a God and Goddess (the Ori) were recognized, but Jehovah (Yaldaboath) had the words altered, for he was proud.

That's very interesting. I didn't know that. One possibility could be that the writers of the Bible took their cue from Greek mythology. In the myth about Pandora, it is a woman who lets loose all the ills upon the world.
