All the non-believers are loaded with knowledge, trying to free your minds of useless feldercarb. Your only response is "gotta have faith" or some other mindless dribbling of scripture? Why do you think with your hearts and not your minds?

If your true intentions for religion are for the spiritual recognition of God and or Jesus, why cant you do this at home or in your mind. If you say churches are there for fellowship, then I have to question your spiritual motives

I would like to only get true stories. Physical things happening, movements, tvs turning on and off, etc... I want to know if anyone else has ever had it happen to them.

heres mine that i doubt though:

ok you know we are going to have hydrogen cars in the future, well then every country will start making hydrogen cars. oh yeah and they run on water instead of gasoline and use no type of oil whatsoever. they are also 100% non polluting. anyways the middle east will make no money anymore and will get very pissed. and we will also make other things run on hydrogen too, not just cars. and then the middle east will try to strike us first but then we will shoot them down. and then we will get pissed at them and so will our allies and themn there allies will hate us too. then we'll have wars everyewhere in lots of countries and then it will be considered ww3. the end.

Which bothers you more, that some are atheistic, or that some believe in God but not in Jesus as their Savior? I'm just curious - I'm not sure what the focus of the arguments are sometimes. These are 2 very different arguments.

Somehow atheism is a choice, but Christianity is forced. Frankly, there are many who choose Christianity, even out of atheism. Does this just not register with them?

In the Book of John, it refers to John as the "beloved deciple". Since John wrote this book, Does any of the other 3 gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) refer to John in this same way?

Christian missionaries had no qualms about destroying local culture and religion which they referred to as superstition, perhaps we should be equally callous now and stamp out this aggressive Christian superstition, what do you think?

I don't think there has ever been a day where I'm been so ashamed to call myself a "Christian " as today. I was reading the Wikipedia on Wiccans, and my heart just sunk when I saw what " Christians " were doing to Wiccans.
In short, "Christians" where taking legal action to remove a Wiccan's right to worship here in the USA!!!! This is ubsurd! My question is this...
What gives you the right do decide what faiths can be worshiped here in the United States of America? Where the same law that allows you to practice you faith allows them to practice theirs? And if you're so opposed to Freedom of Religion, why are you still here?

Consider a kid with cancer. The kid is young and innocent and hasn't had time to commit any sins. But he or she is dying of cancer. Why would you pray for their recovery? Doesn't God know the situation already? Are your prayers going to change his "Plan" about what to do with this kid?

I understand the human need to pray for the sick but do you really think God is going to think "Opps, forgot about poor Joey - I'd better get right on that!!!"

I mean this question seriously - it is something that really bothers me.

Is not getting any better. I wish more regulars would come around more. I haven't really been here much and losing interest in yahoo answers R&S. Is the R&S doomed to flame wars and bickering?
