Christian missionaries had no qualms about destroying local culture and religion which they referred to as superstition, perhaps we should be equally callous now and stamp out this aggressive Christian superstition, what do you think?

Well, arguably, the job's almost done. Check out Christmas - once a pagan festival of winter, then a Christian celebration of the supposed birth of the Messiah, now a giant altar to the great God Retail. Lip service does a god no good, you have to sacrifice to them - and at Christmas, it's Retail that gets our sacrifices, not this Christ figure.

Similarly, on the principle that lip service is not worship, many of the Christ's most ardent followers now preach hateful mantra in the name of their Lord - you've got plenty of examples here of people more focussed on chastising human beings than walking on the path of peace.

So once we rule these people out, you're left with a bunch of people just trying to be nice people in a world that isn't easy for them. These are the people who are following the good bits of Christianity, and ignoring the grim bits. Hardly seems fair to go stamping them out - they might not be right, they might not be clever, but therer are plenty of people in every religion and non-religion who are neither right nor clever, and we can't stamp them all out, surely....by the time we get done, it'll be time to die...and what kind of legacy is that?
"What did you do with your life, Uncle EarthAngel?"
"Did a lot of stamping-out, me. Stamping-out was my thang..."
"Oh....Why?"

Having a strong faith in god is somewhat equal to superstition. How much do they know about other religions before they rule out that the others are superstitution and they themselves are not? Some said that it has a history to back it up, but many other religions have history as well. And no one can be 100% sure about the reliability of history 1000 years ago.

I agree. Christianity's days are numbered. People are turning more and more from the religion. There's a reason why Pagan religions are increasing in members.

I don't think pagans and atheists have to do anything. Christianity is doing it to itself.

Wow. Is this a coincidence? Look at my sources. I made a question about missionaries before.

I don't say stamp out Christianity... just stamp out how they go about certain things.

Only if it is choice the native religions want. No religion should be stamped out. It would make our world a boring place otherwise.

You have made a choice not to follow Jesus Christ. It's all about free will.

Don't you think others deserve the same opportunity to choose what they want to do...NOT what YOU want?

Everyone gets to choose their own path. You did. Why do you think you are any better than anyone else?

You can try, Hitler and the rest had a hard time trying, they just pushed Christianity forward, for what the enemy meant for evil, God turned it around for good. Happy hunting.

I think, given time, Christianity will annihilate itself.

The world has changed if you hadn't noticed. Try doing it now and you're off to jail.

I think that Jesus said the gates of hell would not prevail against his church but if you want to give it a try that's up to you. From your post it seems that you are making a common error of confusing Jesus with fallible men who commit atrocities ostensibly in his name. That's a fatal mistake that can cost you an eternity of suffering.
