...from the rest of the Protestant churches?

I think they believe in "once saved always saved" and they are against infant baptism and believe in the "age of accountabiltiy".

I ask to make sure and because these things are unsupported in the scripture.

Is it possible that we could duplicate a way of healing that Jesus had 2000 years ago with the right attitude towards each other?

For those of you who don't know whether a higher power exists or not, have you had an experience where you felt that this might be the Divine talking to you, or nudging you? Or somehow, you just felt you were on the right path? If so, what did it feel like? And why are you still agnostic? If not, why do you think there may be a higher power, despite never having had the experience of one? Also, for those who used to be agnostic but aren't any longer, did this sort of experience (or lack thereof) help you to decide?

I'm really tired of the evolution skeptics. I have read Darwin's work, and I have read many other papers about evolution in general, and to me evolution is no longer debatable, it is fact. However, I am only educated about evolution as it pertains to its "correctness". Can any skeptic point me to a NON RELIGIOUS website that puts forth any realistic arguments in an attempt to debunk the theory of evolution. This means I DO NOT WANT ANY SITES ABOUT INTELLIGENT DESIGN OR SITES LED BY RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISTS. I am not bashing your unwillingness to believe, I just want to see why.

Okay, obviously you didn’t do anything in my last question and backed out with an excuse. Surely you can try Mark 16:17-1 8 which says believers can drink “any deadly thing” and “it shall not hurt” them. But I don’t think you would be naive enough to drink any arsenic offered. Perhaps I’m wrong and you would be willing to test the Book’s veracity-”lay it on the line” so to speak?

John 14:12 states a follower in Jesus can perform any of his works and do it even greater. Would you mind perhaps resurrecting a dead relative or walking on water?

Or was Jesus just kidding here?

If all sins according to Christianity are equal. A sin is a sin. So, I ask you,why do gay people get bashed so much and are constantly told theyll go to hell, but you know gluttony is a sin, too. But you wont hear a Christian telling another (overweight) Christian, she/he is going to hell for being a glutton. They pick and choose whats right and whats wrong to suit there needs and sometimes say, times have changed and God knows this. Word is word.

or doctrine you adhere to. Well, maybe not Islam, but they don't count in my 'book'.(he he) So He went through all that knowing that He'd be alive and kicking in two or three days. Sure his disciples were amazed, but according to the books, they couldn't figure out parables that small children can figure out. The books even feature this about them.
Then the books put in some very complicated stuff, stuff that causes schisms and separate churches to be formed because it is so unclear. Apparently the disciples understood those points clearly enough though.

My main question here is that He KNEW that he wasn't really going to be killed dead for ever, just a couple or three days. So it was no big thing to Him now, was it?
Secondary question about the disciples being such buffoons about simple parables and yet so wise as to complex material.. wiser than some philosophers through the millenia apparently.
