if you want a religion to believe in that has proof, then your only option is to become an agnostic. Sorry Jesus Freaks, but "Proof of God is everywhere", or "Jesus is Lord and will open your eyes" are not valid answers

Look within. You don't need religion, the community and sharing is nice, but what you are searching for can only be found in your own heart. Listen, SH - I mean it. Listen, there is a place deep within you that is calling for you. That is your proof and that will fill you up if you allow it to. It's right here, right now - not in a book or in someone else's words, it's inside you. Get out of your mind/head for awhile and just listen - look at the trees, at the sky, at the water, just look and listen without your mind thinking about so much, you will hear what you are trying to find. Give it some time and you will.

Only God can fill the emptiness inside of you. You don't need a religion, you need a relationship with the one who loves you so much , that he is willing to be your friend. All you have to do is ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life and read the Bible. God is the only one who gives us hope and that eternal peace that you can't get anywhere else. Take time to reach out to him as you would with a friend. God wants to be part of your life. The more time you spend with him, the more he will show you just how real he is and he will give you proof that cannot be denied. Read the book of John in the Bible to start off with, and ask God to reveal himself to you while you are reading it. Don't hurry or rush the experience. But God will honor your prayers and he will come through for you. Ask him for hope, and to fill your heart with his love. He will help you.

If you really need to find that part then try learning about yourself, screw god or any other higher power, first learn about you, the best way is the truth behind the buddha teachings technically it is about you and only you and to search within you after that any religion will be seen for what it is without manipulations of the masses anfd then you may see where to go or follow, read something like the fundamentals of buddhism or buddha meditation, then after youwill know where to go ...
Good luck

Unlike the others, I won't tell you what to do. I'm Wiccan but there are alot of other religions out there. I suggest you research other religions and see if any speak to your heart. Only you will know what you should do. No one else can tell you.

I arise today through a mighty strength
God's power to guide me
God's might to uphold me
God's eyes to watch over me
God's ears to hear me
God's words to give me speech
God's hand to guard me
God's way to lie before me
God's shield to shelter me
God's host to secure me.
Look to God, and He will help you!
Ask for Him to come into your heart, and He will.
He loves you more than you know!

I'll bet God is hoping you choose to turn to Him. What kind of proof are you looking for?
