The primitive are more seperatist and usually less educated than others. Missionary Baptist are about the same as Independent Baptist. Straight, moral, some are King James only. They have several seminaries in the USA. They are okay people, and their theology is sound. You should be able to find Misionary Baptist on the web. They are open about their beliefs.

Both of these are used with different meanings. Your answer may vary ;-)

Primitive are typically non-instrumental music and have a view of conversion and salvation more tied to Baptism than the "do that next month" view common among most Baptists.

I am not sure on "Missionary" since I know a few churches where that is in their name that are members of major "Baptist conventions."

Baptist World Aid is an organisation run by Baptists that provides aid, clean water, education etc to starving children. I assume there may be some links to missionaries etc.

You are speaking of an area that does not have a reputation for dealing with facts.
