All the non-believers are loaded with knowledge, trying to free your minds of useless feldercarb. Your only response is "gotta have faith" or some other mindless dribbling of scripture? Why do you think with your hearts and not your minds?

You obviously have not read any of my answers, but yes I read the questions, without reading the question how is it possible to answer them? And I do, think with my mind, why do you generalise so much? I don't believe that non-believers have all the answers or knowledge, they are speaking from what they want to be the case without any proof yet Christians are supposed to not use scriptures, I cannot see how, using scriptures in ones answers is dribble, How is stating ones opinion more valid? It is impossible to have faith without knowledge but maybe you consider yourself as more knowledgeable than God himself therefore caling scripture sighting as dribbling and useless mindles feldercarb, what makes you feel so smart, are you not following the so called wisdom of fellow non-believers? Personally I cannot see how that makes you filled with knowledge, Now I am not trying totear you down with what I am saying here just trying to work out where you are coming from, but I hope you do get the real; knowledge and pray that you see the wisdom of the true God! Peace Brother! May you get the truth!

I actually read the questions and don't always give the same answer of you gotta have faith. When people feel down or lost I try to give them the spiritual side of things, but if there asking some simple question I give them a simple answer that doesn't involve the Bible or God, besides there is nothing wrong with thinking with your heart. It shows compassion, and by the way if you ask a question and put it in the spirituality category then you'll get a spiritual answer.

I pick and read questions that interest me. This particular board seems to attract some good decent people of all beliefs, but it seems to be attracking a lot of silly questions that fill pages and pages of space. It is getting harder to find good questions to answer.

I think with both my head and my heart. The best answers are found in both my head and my heart. This is something common to all the major world religions. Since humans are not like Spock on Star Trek, I find it difficult to understand how people claim to be logical only. When I answer questions, I try to present things as logically as I can since many questions reflect the nonbelievers picking a common phrase and asking questions wtihout appearing to understand how that piece fits into the whole. I try to provide fill in those gaps so others can understand how believers can simply state a piece of the situation and understand the whole context. I may state my personal religious beliefs plainly at times, but I try to find common ground with people of all faiths. I think we are all on this planet together and the more we understand each other, the easier it is to coexist. Seeking world domination for a single viewpoint happens repeatedly, but never works.

Tonight, I tried to post a question to people of all faiths on prayer. Although there were some neat answers from Christians, I know people of other faiths also get answers to prayer and would like to hear their experiences as well. I think so much anomosity is on the board with some many people posting silly questions that many are backing off from this segment of Yahoo Answers while those who only want to be silly dominate.

Thanks for a good question!

Some of them, I read....some of them are "useless feldercrab" or whatever. That's not my only response. Goes to show YOU'RE not reading what we say. Why do you try to reason the things of God with your feeble mind? You will never understand where we come from because you haven't been where we've been. Of course it's mindless dribbling to you because you have man's wisdom, which is woefully insufficient in comparison to that of God's. I'm sorry for you. I'll pray for you.

Dude, you know that people are on different levels of their walk with Christ. I get frustrated because the bible says to not hang out with unbelievers. Then even Paul himself says, "I die daily" indicating that he discards another false belief every day. You know the scripture that says not to compare your selves among yourselves. It is a hard walk. But do not boast in your wisdom, because even the wisdom you now have will become nothing before the Lord.
I heard a good word of advice from a real pastor, (not a fleecer bur a minister), "they don't care how much you know, but they want to know how much you care".

That is a simple statement, but it is powerful.

plus, never judge anyone that gets more people saved than you.

the mainstream church is really missing it. It is up to you and i and the others, to reinstate Amos 9.11. Just keep the faith, be humble, and esteem others better than yourself.

It's not just blind faith. I Peter 3:15 says to always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. Manuscripts, Archeology, Prophecy, and Statistics not only chart a secure course on the turnpikes of skepticism but also demonstrate definitively that the Bible is indeed divine rather than human in origin.

That's funny. I read them. Not all non-believers are loaded with knowledge, just garbage. Just as not all Christians reply as "gotta have faith". Uh oh, now I've got that dumb song in my head. I am a free thinker. I think with both.

I resent being classed as a 'mindless dribbler'. Is it safe to assume you are not a Christian? The bottom line for all 'faiths' is: you have to have faith. (in some thing, some person, some being, even if it's only in your self) else you are honesty impaired. Is your opinion more valuable than mine? Well, don't worry about it, everyone is entitled to their own ridiculous opinion.

Man creates and writes scientific data.Non-believers blindly follow those writings, never stopping to think that they could possibly be wrong with their scientific, self-made knowledge. In essence, they are saying that a scientist is infallible. It sure looks to me like the non-believers are the ones who are brainwashed. My mind tells me science(knowledge) is fallible, and God is the infallible One.My heart tells me to follow the Infallible God,no matter what the fallible men of science says.
