i understand that he or she is listed as a fallen angel in many sites, but i cannot find any information on who he or she is? or why he or she is listed as a fallen angel?

don't know if it's in there, but check Milton's "Paradise Lost" - I haven't read the whole thing in a while - but it might be worth a read
