That's how I started. Asking hard questions. Careful or you'll be an atheist like me before too long.

Unfortunately, most of the major world religions were formed before we became aware of all the world's races.
Having said that, it does not single-handedly prove the bible wrong. Nothing will ever prove it wrong or right.
Whether you believe in creationism or evolution, we are all related. The question is how much time has passed from the first "human". Creationism guesses about 2000 years... but it does not specify the genetic makeup of Adam and Eve. Depending on their genetic makeup, they could have spawned all the different races. There is an unbelievably small difference between one race and another, genetically.
CorrelationRevelation --- a solid Christian response. I do have a question if you ever see this: You brought up Inuit, Pygmies, etc. How did they all get to their respective places? Ditto with Australia. Now we're getting into tectonic plates and ice ages. I would like to hear what you have to say about this.

I take it you arent to famialar with biology and genetics because according to some geniuses at several colleges like MIT and Cal tec who worked with the Human genome project whick traced the human family back to 2 people you see a genitic fingerprint is every bit as good as a fingerprint it is used to confirm paternity and other issues because each person hasa unique genetic make up and embeded within that genetic code Created by our Maker is specific rna and other chemicals aminos and other factors like melanin that determine ie we will have light skin dark skin ect based on the body needs and where they live ie warmer climates you have darker skin colder climates you have lighter skin ans as to what you are if you lived in europe you would be european or in the far east Japaneese chineese ect and you body would make the necessary changes as the need arose as we all have the same base pair of genes to work with ie if you only had 5 genes to work with you would have 125 possible combinations but with 23 each you have a wide assortment of possible choices and intermarriage of different genome types adds even more diversity the 3 major groups come from Noahs 3 sons Shem Ham and Japeth who settled in different parts of the earth after the flood so the concept of a loving creator who gave his children such options is both wise and loving not confusing it is just as the Bible says the only confusing part is why some people cant see the truth Best wishes Gorbalizer

Yes we are all related. Your genes an mine are only 1% different if that. The reason for change of colour is to a certain extent evolutionary due to climate. Also selected parts of out genetics are kept by the next generation as good things ie smaller eyes because the sun is bright. Brown skin to prevent sunburn etc. While the stuff that is of no use in the current environment drops away. This may take many generations and only applies if the people stay in the same area.We are descended more closely to noahs family as they were the only family to survive the flood but by this time the genes were no longer pure. One of noahs children was actually darker skinned I think it was Ham. Hope this helps. Mell

That's the whole point, we are related. That is why we are all the same species, Homo sapiens, and is one reason why racial prejudgdism is wrong. In human cells is a thing called Mitochondrial DNA. This is passed from a mother to her offspring and has no input from the father. They did a test about 10 years ago and found all humans are the offspring of one lady - Eve.
The concept of God might be easier if you read the Bible, start with the Gospel of St Mark.

Look outside the box. Factor in such elements as environment and adaptation (evolution). For example (environment), note how human skin, eye, and hair colors become lighter as you look further away from the equator (e.g. African people are darker than Norwegians).
Or consider that, over time, people adapted to their locations, diets, activities, and even mating selections. In many cases, they may have changed locations (migrated), as the result of food availability or extremes in heat or cold.
Although the theory of evolution may not be religiously accepted, it may be reasonable to consider that living organisms could become altered in response to environmental changes, in cases where they can't otherwise control those changes.
However, one doesn't have to forsake his or her religious convictions, to consider the powers behind the evolutionary progressions. Whether you choose to believe that lizards may have evolved into birds is not in question here. Rather, the fact that today's humans still generally take on the human forms of Adam and Eve can be supported by the above arguments without really compromising religious beliefs.

I guess you have not read the whole bible so you did not read the story about the tower being build so that God had to change all the lang... so that they all could not understand each other so they all separated and stopped building the tower because they would have succeeded so that is what happened and when ppl separated to different lands they became different races and colors and every one went with those they could understand and who they looked like IE same color that is how and why it happened!!! in a nut shell if you understand if not read the story in the bible all things work together for good that love the Lord!!!!

There is and always was only one race-the human race. Groups became isolated after the flood. Once isolated the people began to look more alike. For instance, the people in Africa began to look alike. The people in China began to look alike. The fact that we are all inter-fertile means that we are all from the same race.
As far as all humans being related. We are-that's a scientific fact. Proved by biochemists Alan Wilson and Mark Stoneking of University of California, Berkeley in 1987. These men tested mitochondrial DNA from 147 women from every race around the world. The results of their experiment shocked the world, because they linked all modern humans back to one single female human. You can read about it.
Edit: If you want to read the story-go to any library and look up "Newsweek" Jan 11, 1988. It was their cover story. Or, if you wish contact UCLA-Berkeley.

Yes, IF we are, that is definitely true. We are, all therefore are brothers and sisters, or cousins, or somehow related, IF that's true. Personally, I think that is a pretty BIG "if", but a lot of people seem to have no problem taking that story as absolutely literal history.
The concept of "god"? Which one? I know of quite a few different ones. god with a small 'g' like that usually means someone like Apollo or Thor or Osiris.

This is a question most Churches can not answer correctly. Jesus said in the new testament I have told you all things. All questions can be answered because the Bible has all the answers. The best place I have ever found to explain these answers is pastor Murry of the Shepard's chapel He is on the web and tv. This will be a wealth of truth for you to think about. We are not related except thru Christ. An answer I wrote to a question in YA will give a brief answer to this. It is a question by mr spanky about the people of Nod.

Be careful - once those Christians get going, there's no turning back.... Anyways, the concept of a god can be confusing, but it's important that you understand it before you choose to reject it. I'm very glad that I came to understand Christianity, as well as several other religions, before and while being an Atheist. If I didn't know so much about Christianity, I might never have rejected it.
