In due time we all will know who the true God is and then we can either be on the road that is cramped and narrow to life or the wide open road to everasting nothingness.

Why do Christians love Jesus more than God?
Or do they think Jesus is God or even his son? In the ansiant times people asked Mosa to show them God so that they would believe in him.God ordered Mosa to call them all to a mountain. Then they saw that mountain trembled and faded away and all those people including Mosa collapsed.Even a mountain could'nt bear God to reveal. So how do you believe that God was born in shape of Jesus? It's impossible. And if you think Jesus is the son of God again you are wrong.why?Because at that time you admit that God has a wife (and probably other relatives too).God is unique and you cannot compare him with anything els.Our first Imam (Imam Ali) is one of those highly praised people by God in holy Quran.Whenever I study their behaviour and kindness I simply cry and understand that how far my behaviour is from theirs. At that time some people thought Imam Ali is God.But God sent a message to prophet Mohammad and told him : tell them to leave this thought or they will be destroyed by God.(I mean going to hell by the word destroyed). You see that comparing God with other creatuers, humans, things is one of the most unforgivable sins.As a Christian you must love Christ. Not loving him is surely a big sin.But not necessarily call him God or his son.Even if some day Moslems decide to worship prophet Mohammad instead of God or even call them son and father they will go to hell. That's exactly what Quran says.Infidels have edited holy Bible.I've seen fictional statements in the Bible such as: God restles with prophet or envies him. While God in Quran is a perfect being that is unique, has no sons or partners, does'nt have any of bad ajdectives which can be found among humans (such as eviness which is a mortal sin in Islam).Infidels have edited the truly Bible and they will never be forgiven by God because they have caused lots of people to have some wrong beliefs. You think there are seven sins in Christianity but you can be sure that there are more. It's not acceptable that some of the works are sin in Islam but they are not sins in Christianity while we are all the same humans. In Islam we have more than 32 mortal sins such as : telling lies, enviness, fornication (pre-marriage sex),worshiping someone apart from or along with God,usury,backbiting,pride,sho... innovations, calumny, theft, and so on.So infidels may have simplified Christianity according to their own will as well as changing holy Bible. And please understand that this is not because I want to blame you.you have the right to believe in whatever you choose too.this was just an advice from a friend.forgive me if this annoys you. This is for your own good.I love you.

I met a church minister during the course of my work and we had a breif conversation about nothing in particular. As I was about to leave he said something which I think surely contradicts his own teachings and beliefs.
He said - 'You have to make the most of your life on this earth as you will be a long time dead'
His statement was not new to me as I have heard it a lot of times from all sorts of people and just let it pass as idle chatter but this time it made me think.
If this 'man of the cloth' says this then he must believe that this life is better than the 'afterlife' to come, this being the case he can't be looking forward to meeting his god in the paridise that is taught to us by his religion.
I have no religious beliefs but I have no objection to others having them. I also believe that we must make the most of our time whilst alive and in no way am I looking forward to death but surely someone that believes in an afterlife would think that it would be better than this life

I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own — a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms."

"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. The religion which based on experience, which refuses dogmatic. If there's any religion that would cope the scientific needs it will be Buddhism."
"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein

There was a man that I slowly got to know and got along with.
However, there was a period of time (perhaps, wks. months, yrs?) that we were separated. Anyway, one day I heard he was in danger and I traveled across "many lands" (sounds vague, I know) to find him.

To make a long story short, when I finally reached him, we both stood face to face with deep longing in our eyes, and suddenly I rushed to him and kissed and embraced him tightly. He returned the embrace and we stayed like that for a while.

There was so much emotion that rushed through my body--it was as though I loved him.

What could it mean? (Sorry for the vagueness of the story--it's all I could remember)

Christian Brothers, Understand I know Christ preached peace, but he also said in Matthew 22 37:38 that the most important commandment is to honor God. You honor God by obeying his will. What is the will of God :

Deut. 23:24)- Do Not Worship the Gods of the Other nations, You must conquer them and break down their Idols

Christians plant seeds of faith and I plant seeds of doubt. Is it not true that the later you conclude the greater your conclusions will be? It sounds "corny", but isn't uncertainty the only certainty?

Christians have been some of the most blood thirsty, vengeance seeking people I have ever met. How do they reconcile that with their biblical teachings? And this isn't an anti-christian thing, I am honestly curious. I want to try to reconcile my belief in God to the cruel, pro-american, anti-everything that's not straight white america with a missile to blast the non-believers God that is paraded around right now. The majority of christians I've met have been the most uncompassionate, judgemental people, the same ones I imagine would have crucified Christ for teaching tolerance( now I guess they do it by voting) Someone tell me how the people Christ hung with are now disposable.

Our times aren’t so different than when he wrote that. Where is our civil disobedience for the war in Iraq, where is the protest for a corrupt government? What has happen to the backbone of our youth? I guess this should be on the political page and maybe I'll post it there also. Isn't anyone else pissed? When will it end?

I have a quick thought and question.
I was watching Bill O'Reilly on Fox News last night, and he had Gerardo Rivera on there. They where on the topic of Mel Gibson and his remarks about the Jews. Now through out the discussion, Gerardo said that there where two people that he could not forgive, and Mr. Gibson is one of them.

Why?
Because he did not ask!
Which he did come on T.V. and asked people to forgive him sometime back

Now to my Question.....
Does a person have to ask you to forgive them in order for you to forgive them?........Or can you forgive them and let the water continue under the bridge......
Thanks to all who answer
and God Bless you all
...........=)

Whats Happened to peace and love? Really, can't we all try and be better then that. I think the lyrics to Imagine speak across generations. Let me know what you think.

Imagine

magine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
