Why do you think, especially for atheists, that once this body is 'dead' that whatever is inside it that lets you think dies too? if we're all just walking zombies, we're obviously Not because we all think differently and have different personalities and interests, why would 'YOU' just disappear with the shell that contains 'YOU'? do you think 'you' disappear? or do you reincarnate? so do atheists believe in reincarnation?

for the people that believe in souls/spirits that keep your body animated, that leave and go to some other dimension when you die, well i have a question. what if you died and your soul didnt move on? would you be like a zombie? a soul trapped in a dead, useless body. how that work out being a zombie?

how do you define self or what is your perception of "I"
is it brain ? when you think of your self do you picture a brain and some nerves???
do you picture your face. no when we say I want that . I did that ....
I love him/her it is not some cells we are talking about
nor it is some organs and blood
the body dies but the "I" , the "self" never dies cause its not consisted of the physical material
what o you think?

Someone said God was in heaven and on the cross at the same time but note... the belief is that they are two different persons with one nature to believe that the Father is the Son and the Son is the Spirit and the Spirit is the Father is not true according to Trinitarian belief but they are all One God... am I wrong?

I have tried everything to belive in christanity. I feel like I have absolutly no power in changing what I think. I can not belive the bible stories and many of its teaching. I have prayed to god many many times and asked for help changing the way I think or to speak aloud to me. I want to believe with every ounce of my soul. If there is a god I feel like he does not want anything to do with me. I have tried to belive for years now and I just dont know what to do anymore.

I want to believe in god and jesus with every part of me. I would love to go to paradise when I die and have someone watch over me when I live. The only problem is that no matter what I do I can not belive the bible and many of its teachings and stories. People say that it is a choice but I feel I can not change what I feel. I can say that I belive but inside I know that I am lying to myself. I have tried everything: Going to chuch, getting baptised, praying. I have begged god to speak to me or change my ways of thinking. Am I doomed. Have I been forsaken?
