Or is morality absbolute, and perspective relative? If murder is absolutely wrong, and two people witness a murder, but one justifies it while the other condemns it, then perspective is relative, given the absolute nature of the crime. Does that make sense?

I would like to be God for a day. I'd wake up, I would try and wake up to all the women I have loved, not to have sex with them, but just to see them next to me, that they could touch my back individually, and I would feel their love.
I would go to Starbucks from pumpkin spice latte then to the gym to run and swim and lift wieghts.
I'd go to the God office for my morning brief of the state of the world.

If I were God for a day I would cure cancer, I would heal amputees, I would show myself and inform Earth that I am God, hello good people, I created you, I made you and shaped you, do not fight, I am God and you are loved, no more war, just peace.

I would catch a movie. I would go to a baseball playoff.

I would go home to the women I have loved in my life and mix a cocktail, and with them, individually . . make love and then sleep with them.

I think I would give the human race a good night present, a slide show on how I created the Earth.

physically transcend the human body? By that I mean come to a place, or awareness of yourself, where you have the ability to (mentally) become a "spiritual" being where you no longer need a physical form to exist. A place where you were free from belief in anything and you were "the creator"?
I have had a vision of such a thing, and it made me feel like this was the ultimate goal of every "soul"
what do you think?

This guy was of course telling everyone their going to hell so we played a prank on that stupid @sshole. We went up to talk to him, and while my friend was being told he was going to hell I was squirting him in the croch with vegetable oil our of a squirt gun. We got away without him noticing and for I dont know how long he stood on the street corner looking like a nut who pissed himself telling everyone their going to hell. Was that funny or what?

I just want to see what people are talking about when they make referance to the bible . Correct me if I am wrong but I think the government is banning same sex marriage partially because of what the bible says. When I see news reports about this people very often make referance to religion and the bible.

'Five pillars of Islam' taught in public school

Another school has been "teaching" Islam by having students study and learn Muslim prayers and dress as Muslims, and a lawyer who argued a previous dispute over this issue to the U.S. Supreme Court said such methodologies wouldn't "last 10 seconds" if it were Christianity being taught.
"Would it have been 'just cultural education' if students were in simulated baptisms, wearing a crucifix, having taken the name of St. John and with praise banners saying 'Praise be to Jesus Christ' on classroom walls?" asked Edward White III, of the Thomas More Law Center.

Part 2 -- Why do GOOD things happen to BAD people?

Thanks to those of you who pointed out the many many references to the word "love" in the Koran: we should love Allah, but we love stuff instead; Allah loves the righteous, the just, the pious, etc. Where does the Koran say that Allah loves the sinner?

Does Allah love Jews? If not, why did He create them? Why does he continue to create them?

Does Allah love the unbelievers? Or only those who obey what he said through Mohammed? Does Allah only love us when we're obedient? Is Allah's love conditional? If so, is that love at all?

Ever read about Albert Fish the serial killer? He killed a few kids, but there was one where he kidnapped a four-year-old boy, took him to an abandoned house at a dump, left him there all night, then came back the next day and tortured him to death. Four years old! My question is, where was the all-Loving, all-knowing, all-powerful God? That poor little boy went through hell, and the only being that could have done anything to stop it didn't. And that's just one example. Every day, children all over the world are subjected to horrors most of us will never know, and it breaks my heart to think about it. Please don't tell me that God "allows" things to happen, or they happen because He's punishing us, because those are cop-outs. He knew before He created the world that Albert Fish was going to kill innocent kids, so who's responsible? Spare me the religious rhetoric. I'm just a guy with a young son of my own who honestly wants to know how God could allow such things to happen.

Can a person's childhood seriously mess you up? And if you can't choose how pleasent your childhood will be, are you still liable for the adult you will become? Imagine being in the shoes of serial killer or a pederast. You have no control over your conscious because you have no self-esteem.

The Green River Killer pissed his bed as a teenager, was constantly humiliated by his mother. His childhood turned him into a hateful misogynist. Adolf Hitler grew up a street waif, had such a fragile ego that he had to control the world to feel in control of himself. People who commit horrendous acts are mentally sick. Do you have freewill over your childhood? Can a man be a better man under better circumstances?

There is this total di(khead guy who is always telling everyone that their going to hell and harassing people. He would always stand on the same street and do this for hours a day. Me and 2 friends filled up water ballons with pee and left them in the sun for almost a week. We drove by and bombed on him. I nailed him right in the ear. He never came back and I think the community loves it. Do you think that was funny?
