Who do you believe Jesus was? I've heard (please tell me if I am misinformed; I'm genuinely trying to learn) that those of the Jewish faith believe that Jesus was a "good man" and a "prophet" (just not the son of God) and that their Messiah has yet to come. If that is accurate, then I'm confused by this. Why would someone who believes their Messiah has not yet come, think a man who walked around proclaiming to be the Son of God was a "good man". On the contrary, it seems more likely they would think of him as either pure evil or a lunatic. Am I just misinformed about Jewish beliefs?

When the church (the entire body of believers in Jesus Christ) is raptured and the only people left on earth are the non-believers.What are ya'll gonna do, say or think when you realize that Christians were right and ya'll are left to face and go through the tribulation (the time when the anti-christ will be causing all sorts of havoc in the name of Jesus)?:-)

Or are they muslims, or jews, or atheists, or wiccans, or buddhists, or hindus, and at what point did they decide which religion to belong to? If they all go to heaven, doesn't that imply that there is only one God, one religion?

The only time Muslims mention Islam's "Prophet Jesus" is when they are trying to sell Islam or some facet of Islam to non-muslims they think might be Christian. However. if you make them mad upfront, they assume your jewish and then use that debasing tone when they call you "jeeeewwww".

Im curious, is there one Muslim who will swear to Allah that he or she has been a part of some lengthy study of Islamic Jesus inside the Islamic community itself, in other words, without the "we have a jesus mr infidel" gimmickery. Swear to Allah that Muslims study this most important prophet with any seriousness without any non-muslims around.

I am concerned about this widespread belief in a global flood from thousands of years ago. If this flood did exist, how do we explain the current existence of fish and sea creatures, some which can only survive in saltwater and some which can only survive in fresh water? Have these animals evolved since the flood, or is this flood thing a fairy tale?

All prophets of God preform miracles to show they are sent from God. Does the Koran ever even record any miracles? I realize they could have been fabricated but if it didn't then it proves that he is a false prophet anyways.

I say this because Muslims say they worship the same all powerful God of the Christians and Jews. They also claim to believe in the prophets Jesus and Moses. But Jesus and Moses both preformed miracles to suppor their claims and both religions call for it to prove the validity of a prophet of God.

In short. If Mohomed did not preform miracles he was not sent from God.

We beat up this annoying guy who was telling people they were going to hell. Why did it feel right?
This guy was telling people they were going to hell for this and that and happened to say it to my mother, who was wearing a rainbow colored shirt. To say I was pissed was an uderstatement, so me and a few friends found that guy later in the night and beat the $hit out of him and left him a bloody mess on the pavement. I told him if he spreads hate in the name of god again I was gonna mess him up twice as bad. He promised he wouldnt, and I never saw him in that same place again. He made non-belivers hate christianity instead of trying to bring them closer. Would any of you have done the same. And dont tell me I should have tried to reason with him, if you think I should have you obviously have never met a sign holding fanatic.

Christians Please answer these questions:
I know that most of you believe Jesus will return. I'm curious as to how you think he will return.

Will he be Flying through the clouds? Does that mean he was in space somewhere? Did god put a protective coating on his skin to protect it from the radioactivity in space that would melt human skin in seconds? Or will he be wearing a space suit? Is he comming in human form? If not, then what form?

Doesn't it seem a little irrational to believe that a dead guy from 2,000 years ago is just going to just magically appear to do battle with an invisible devil? If they can't be seen now, why would they need to be seen when they fight it out?
Why would the devil even fight? Doesn't he know that he couldn't possibly win angainst an all-powerful god?

Sorry for so many questions but it would be nice to get an answer to each.

for the Harvest moon, my grove and i went to an open circle that was part 2 of a 5 part ritual. It was called "The Cup Of Sadness"
i thought that it was a very good ritual and it actually helped me with my yearly depression.

Anyhow the question is for the Wiccan folk, What is the history of this ritual, where did it come from and what are the intended results of the entire 5 cup rituals.

the cup of Joy
the cup of Sadness
the cup of Anger
the cup of love
(i cannot remember what the 5th cup was)
but they are donig the ritual evenly spaces out over a year and a day as 5 seperate rituals.
any info will be very appreciated and helpful.

thanks for all your answers, very thought-provoking. ok, now, let's say that i am not a christian and due to me being very hard-headed i don't presently want to become one. i pray to god every night, would it help if i asked him to soften my heart and help me have the will and desire to become a christian? like i said, i'm very hard-headed, the only thing that will get me to change my ways is if god intervenes. if i pray about it, do u think he will do it?

Muslims copied the name of the Christian Prophet called "Jesus" and slapped him into the mythology of Islam. The guy they call Jesus...fill in the blanks Muslims...did he command and army like Muhammad which murdered thosands?

Christians (not all but alot) think that we are in the end times, and that Babylon must be detroyed. They think that NY NY is the "head of the beast", and it is to be destroyed. If they are really Christians and this is really what they believe then why are they so upset over 911? Isn't this just further proof of thier truth?

Do you beleve every word in the bible? If so, If you worship christ on the same level as god will you be damned. Jesus said himself not to worship him but his father in heaven. so anyone who worships christ over his father who honestly I dont hear as much about him as I do Jesus will you be damned for worshipping Jesus?

I am not a Christian myself, so I get confused. I have attended someone's baptism at a catholic church though all I remember was a lot of singing and standing up and sitting down.. Also the person who out holly water on the kids was impressed that no children cried during the ceremony in the last one week.

When does life begin? When does abortion take a life? Partial birth abortion? The earliest recorded premature birth? Could that child have been aborted? These questions can go on forever. Does abortion end a human life?
