The only time Muslims mention Islam's "Prophet Jesus" is when they are trying to sell Islam or some facet of Islam to non-muslims they think might be Christian. However. if you make them mad upfront, they assume your jewish and then use that debasing tone when they call you "jeeeewwww".

Im curious, is there one Muslim who will swear to Allah that he or she has been a part of some lengthy study of Islamic Jesus inside the Islamic community itself, in other words, without the "we have a jesus mr infidel" gimmickery. Swear to Allah that Muslims study this most important prophet with any seriousness without any non-muslims around.

EVERYTHING ABOUT ISLAM IS A LOAD OF GARBAGE

Find out for yourself by searching the first link below. It's a site where you can search for any word in the Qur'an. The word "Jesus" appears 29 times in 28 verses in the Quran (in Yusuf Ali's translation). Example: (5) Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah."

Of course Muslims mention Jesus, simply by reading or reciting their Qur'an. Muslims love Jesus and believe in his second coming.

Re: your other comment, I would say that all of us could tell tales of hurtful things we have heard from others (for one thing or another). No Muslim should ever say "Jew" in a derogatory way. See what it caused? You are rightly upset. But you channeled it into a question that might bring about some good (that's what I'm hoping to provide). : )

There is plenty of ignorance, hurt, and reactionary responses to go around. If you want to read about that, you can check the final link below.

Jesus (Peace be upon him - PBUH) and Virgin Mary (PBUH) are mentioned in the Quran more than the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is. And they are all mentioned in the positive light. There is a chapter dedicated to the Virgin Mary (PBUH). If you ever listen to the sermons on Friday you'd know that their names are mentioned quite often. Abraham, Ismeal and Isaac are also mentioned mamny times in these lectures. Of course when Muslims talk to Christians they want to mention Jesus and Mary more prominently since they hold a special status in Christendom. Similarly, when Muslims speak to a Jewish person, they will mention Moses, Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac more prominently for obvious reasons.

I hope that helps to answer your question.

Well, I've had many conversations about Jesus (pbuh) with other Muslims while there were no Christians around. Even on occasion have encouraged other Muslims to read the Bible.

Muslims love Jesus (pbuh). Why does that bother you?

And if you are around witnessing these conversations, there aren't only Muslims around. .. . so how do you claim to know what Muslims do or do not talk about when only Muslims are around?

Muslims often use the fact that Jesus appears in the Qur'an as a way of saying to Christians "hey, we believe in Jesus too. So convert to Islam."

There may be some confusion in the Qur'an between the biblical characters of Esau (Jacob's brother) and Jesus.

The Qur'an confuses Miriam (Moses' sister) and Mary (Jesus' mum).

it continuously is. Ever hear of Hal Lindsey? He have been given very, very wealthy merchandising a e book of repackaged Dispensationalist propaganda mentioned as "The overdue, large Planet Earth". In it, he predicted the 2d coming might ensue by making use of 1988, claiming that the era that began present day "Israel" does not bypass formerly the Rapture. properly, 1988 got here and went. No Jesus. yet that did not stop Hal Lindsey. he remains available merchandising anti-liberal, anti-government end-cases crapola, inspite of what the bible says approximately fake Prophets. Or ought to it is "fake earnings"?

I'm not sure that I understand your question. Still, I believe firmly that Jesus is lord. However, in order to show that to Muslims, you can't debate them. YOu have to let them insult you and respond with kindness and understanding. THen they will know Christ's love.

Last time I checked, a claim of a prophet is a selling point in any religion....including Christianity.

No but Christianity's Jesus definitely is. What do you imagine Christ would think if He came back and saw all of you walking around wearing crosses around your necks and more crosses hanging in your Churches and houses? Do you think Jesus likes crosses or something? Get real!

No, Jesus (PBUH) was a prophet of God and we don't reject any prophets because we fear God and a awful punishment were we to reject guidance. Go away and sin and gamble Las Vegas Sinner.
