Christians (not all but alot) think that we are in the end times, and that Babylon must be detroyed. They think that NY NY is the "head of the beast", and it is to be destroyed. If they are really Christians and this is really what they believe then why are they so upset over 911? Isn't this just further proof of thier truth?

Thought I made it clear, but here I will spell it out for the idiots who can't comprehend. I am not a Muslim and I don't believe this, I want to know what the people that do believe this have to say, looks like they are scared to tell they world the truth because not one of them have answered, just further proof that they are hipocrites.

Even though we believe it and know that it will happen, we grieve for the people and what they have to go through. We pray for them and still love them..

You make a good point. The US may be the great satan or working its way there in a hurry. If that is the case and NY is the head of the beast then yes, it will most likely glow like a diesel plug in the not too distant future. Along with the rest of a land that has been so blessed by God yet so poor to the rest of the world. I know, I know, I'm talkin out my hole but look at it this way; Even though as a nation the US gives more then any nation to its poorer less fortunate neighbors, the US does nothing that it doesn't expect something in return. It's called greed, not capitolism. Capitolism unchecked becomes unbridled greed and guess what? We're all guilty by association. If Babylon is truly NY, then why do we refer to it as Sodom? Babylon is most likely going to be Babylon. As that part of the world grows and becomes more important in every day life we will see Babylon rise from the ashes to be a very great power again. The US is not mentioned in scripture. If it is mentioned, chances are it's mentioned as a smoldering ash heap. The nukes will fly one day!

No New York is NOT Babylon. Babylon is in Iraq. No Christian thinks like that. Sounds more Muslim to me. Why are they upset about New York. ? 911 was a terrible act of War. What in the hell is wrong with you ? New York had better not be destroyed. It is not Babylon. Where did you pick up on that Propaganda ? Are you a Muslim ??? Babylon is in your own country --- Iraq . Not the USA.

New York City does not fit any of the characteristics of Babylon. It is not a center of religious worship. It is not a combination of church and state. It does not have a man at the head speaking blasphemous words against the most high. It does not have a history of persecuting the saints of the most high. It did not come up out of the fourth kingdom in Daniel. It is not a little kingdom. It is not a kingdom at all. It did not think to change times and laws. It is not built on 7 hills. I could go on but why bother. Clearly you have not studied Bible prophecy.

New York is not Babylon, Babylon was Babylon. It was destroyed when Alexander the Great and a bunch of his officers got really drunk and thought it would be fun to torch the place.
To Randy H: The city wasn't destroyed then, just made to speak different languages, you might want try re-reading you Bible.

What self professed Christians think that New York is Babylon? In the Bible, Babylon represents organized religion, which the Beast (Nations) will turn on and destroy.
