hundreds and hundreds of women have died as a result of Honor crimes/killings, its really sad, what can be done to prevent them? show support

I don't know about the stopping part but I do know that we all have influence in this world. As we become more enlightened we do what we can to ease the suffering of others. This is a very sad and needless suffering.
What can be done? In part by exposing the darkness of the deed. As you shine light on these acts they will be evident for what they are to most people with a modicum of conscience. If you are dialog with someone who expresses sympathy to doing such acts a well placed word can do wonders.
Another good place to start is theology. Much of such dysfunctions takes its roots from religious interpretations and or texts. Speak out when you have a relative amount of safety to do so against harmful beliefs instilled by indoctrination. People become indoctrinated often because there is no one around to put up challenge.

Well,its sad to say that lots of people died from killing but there is no way to prevent killings.

what can be done to stop honor crimes? bring those medievel countries into the 21st century by starting with the 18th century.
