The Muslims are attacking KFC's in response to Danish cartoons of Mohammed, why didn't they do something about the South Park episode, where Jesus, Mohammed, Moses, Joseph Smith, Buddha, Shiva, and a bunch of others teamed up to fight against magician David Blaine?

(In case you are wondering, I am half joking, but still. I'm curious as to why no one ever brings that up.)

hi,
i believe that GOD , JESUS & HOLY SPIRIT..are 3 seperate beings.
jesus is not god, etc.
jesus is gods son.
i also believe that when we so die , that we go to be near the lord,
but yet we sleep. sleep in jesus. we will be resurected as it says in revelations.we will live here on the new earth. jesus will rule.
i believe that GOD gave jesus authority to heal, forgive sins, etc , we are to praise him and god doesnt mind if we have jesus equal with him as he was sent by GOD and is his son.
well actually when i pray, i put GOD the father first.
but i ask forgiveness of sins in jesus:s name.
who believes as i do?
and what if GOD has a wife?
god has a son. why not a wife?
he is god!!! he can do as he wishes. it wouldnt be sinful.
GOD made eve for adam. he made them to recreate (have kids) .
maybe he created us like him , which he did, .
there is alot we dont know.
also i believe earth to be billions of yrs old. our bible possibly a recreation account. well let me know !

Some people will point out that man-made objects are clearly designed and made by intelligent minds, and argue by analogy that living organisms therefore must also be designed - usually citing the complexity and organisation in living organisms as evidence of that intelligent design.

Let's think about what intelligence means. I think it means the ability to come up with lots of different ideas, different possibilities, different solutions to problems, and figure out what works best. When we are babies, our actions are random and unplanned - we gradually learn by trial and error how to move, how to get what we want, how to avoid getting hurt and so on. As adults, we have a lot of experience to draw on so we don't need to try everything out to know what will happen - the trial and error often goes on in our minds, but we still do it, even if a lot of it is automatic.

So, when someone designs something, they go through this trial and error process, some of it in practice and some just mentally, to decide what will work best for what they want to achieve - an attractive design, an effective product, a big profit, or whatever. The smartest people are the ones who have the most varied and original ideas, and are most successful at choosing the best ones.

Now, notice the similarity with evolution: Random genetic mutation provides the different possibilities, the different solutions, and unthinking natural selection determines what works and what does not - i.e. a mutation which allows the individual which carries it to more reproductively successful will tend to be preserved and proliferate in the population, and one which is disadvantageous will tend to be lost, simply because the individual is never born, or dies before breeding, or breeds less successfully.

So in both cases - human design and evolution - the same factors of variation and selection are at work. That's why both phenomena are capable of producing complexity, and that's also why (I suggest) some people mistakenly feel that intelligence must be involved in both cases.

I am momentarily suffering the worst torture known to man. An annoying 4 year old friend of my son's. Please, share any inspirational words you know of. I am thinking about gouging out my own eardrums just so I don't have to hear him. My own kids are NEVER this terrible. Where is God now? I only agreed to watch him for an hour, and 20 minutes into this, I'm having to meditate.

What do you think of this ? Anyone have anything to add ? I feel an inward perfection...not something that I earned..but the face of Jesus...as he JUST FLEW INTO ME and is sitting there emmanating...now shining His female spiritual side thru me...as when I adore Him He is reflecting His female bride in and thru me...like my face is a mirror..reflecting a perfect copy of His sweet shining face..and adoring Him..caressing Him..as His little created goddess bride.....just for His sweet pleasure..to be with me for His spiritual pleasure and bridal caressing worship....I feel Him in me and me in Him...locked in this eternal gaze at each other...It isnt really me tho..its Him as me...I am crucified and gone...and now He is His bride thru me.....

I feel like a priceless doll..a treasure..set in porcelain..in a diamond cut clear glass case...for Him to look at as His priceless prize... bought and payed for by Him..His Cross and Ressurection...( and this is also for all who accept Him )

I want to hear a serious conversation here...

What is the point of staying longer in Iraq? I would feel safer with OUR troops back home in OUR country, personally...

also, I had always wondered what the terrorists were fighting for but then I found out that organizations like Al-Qaida and others want to establish a caliphate (which is like an extremist religious dictatorship... I guess) on earth... so seriously, why can't we just give them some desert patch of holy land and let them kill each other for masturbating and whatnot and just leave them alone to rule themselves? It's what we do with the chinese... right?

I understand that probably isn't entirely realistic but is expecting a hotbed of enemy muslim sects and people sworn to each others total annihilation to just forget it all and form a democracy or a republic any better?

The Amish actually attended the funeral of the man that murdered their children. They are much bigger people than I could ever think to be. They are truly forgiving.

No one person in any Religion is perfect, and we all have our differences and perspectives of issues.

EXAMPLE so if a person of a Religion is mean, please don't take it out on the whole group, or Religion.

I'm not targeting any particular belief here but the idea that one can be considered "Chosen".

You would think more people would pull their dreams or idea of "heaven" into the now.

With all the subtle hints and not so subtle but blatantly obvious hints that tell us we can do anything we put our minds to.

It seems like the key word here is "minds".

Are we capable of bringing our thoughts, ideas, and creations into the physical world without distractions?

Obviously I could get some shallow answers and point gamers, but really?

Are we creating Heaven right now with every thought, action, or daydream we experience?

Matthew 5:17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

I see so many people who love God yet do not worship Him. Do you not have to worship Him or do these people not really love Him? (When I say worship, I don't mean just singing at Church.)
