7 X 70?

God's forgiveness is never ending. He will never stop forgiving a person when they ask for it. However we must also forgive others in order to be forgiven. So the answer to the question is that it is infinitive. As many times as it takes, as many times a day that you feel that you have been wronged.

there's not a set amount. God just asks us to be forgiving i nature. At the end of the day pray about it and aknowledge that u forgive ppl. God accepts this. so dont worry about how many times u need to forgive but rather what needs to be forgiven :)

I think I remember a verse somewhere, can't remember where it is, but it says something to the effect of you should forgive someone 70 times 70.... anyway, as many times as they ask.

In the bible it says 7x70 which in actuality it means that we are to forgive them every time that the person comes to us and asks us for forgiveness. Even if we may not think that they are being sincere, it is not our place to make that judgement, we are still to forgive.

When Peter asked that, he wondered if he should forgive someone seven times.

And Jesus' response was "Not seven, but seven times seven!" In other words, you must forgive endlessly.

You forgive but you don't forget. As the saying goes.. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. It would depend on the kind of lies .. and why that person was lying to me. Good Luck!
