Could we sit and converse about our friends, kids, grandkids, art, accomplishments and failures without any religion in the mix?

Is it possible?

5 people are sitting in a room of a church. All of them have chosen to repent so that they may go to heaven. A priest (or equivalent depending on your religion) comes out and says... I'm going to insure that all of you go to heaven, when I ask you to, come with me and we shall repent. One by one he asks them to follow him into a room. The individual walks in to the room and is instructed kneel before an altar, close their eyes, and repent. Instantly after their last word, the priest kills them (I won't be graphic so just go with it). Everyone is dead except for the priest and one other. The priest walks up to the person and says “I going to show you the power of God”. The priest pulls out a gun and has the person load it. "God is going to stop this bullet from firing from this gun". The priest puts the gun to his own head and pulls the trigger. Dead... Who goes to heaven in this situation? What if they know they would die? Who thinks the gun wouldn't have gone off?

Every time a Pagan asks a question it's always loaded with answers that are preaching that we are wrong believing in our beliefs. If Christians are taught to love everyone, they definetly don't follow it!

The Westboro Baptist church goes around protesting at funerals and other forums. These are the folks that protest at soldiers funerals and have threatened to protest at the little Amish girls funerals. Here is their website if you want to check out their depravity! I think that they are sick, sick people. http://www.godhatesfags.com/main/index.html

I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that he died for my sins, and I have accepted him as my savior. However I don't feel like giving up sins all the times. Sometimes I'm really gung ho for Jesus, and I want to do his will, but lately this hasn't been the case. I just don't really feel like Christianity is fun. It feels more like a chore. I feel like I can't do anything that I like such as drinking, lusting, and etc. I feel trapped because I want to follow my heart, but I'm scared of going to hell. Should I serve God just because of a fear of going to hell. That bothers me. I feel that I should do it because I want. But i really am not sure that I want to. Like I said before, I believe in God and Jesus Christ, but I have a problem with giving up sin. Some things I'm not sure if they are sins or not. People say they are, but people are not always right. I'm very confused. Can anyone help?

Catholicism was the first Christian denomination and all other denominations broke off and changed things. I don't see it often. But I have seen it in a couple of places.

Read the story, then tell me how many people have been hurt by Wicans? Freedom of religion- you so called "Christians"- why don't we just burn all of the books- isn't that what the Nazis did? While we are at it- make sure that we burn all the bibles, too.

respecting a belief requires full respect, not assumptions of what will happen in death,so when i hear people say,"you will burn" to me that is telling me that i will burn because i dont beleive what they do,wouldnt it make more sense to just keep your mouth shut,i dont go around saying, well all that happens when you die is you go six feet under, period.that is my opinion, but i dont express it till im asked, because i know not everyone believes like i do.i think its more disrespectful to hear where you will go based on someone elses belief.thats pretty snooty in my opinion, any thoughts? no insults,i have insulted no one, anyone see my point?i welcome all opinions.
