it is based on paganism and Judaism. when something did not agree with Judaism the early Christians mixed paganism with it. they altered the calendar and holidays just to get people to join it. why do you think all saints day is November 1st. it was the Celtic new year and to get the Celts to convert and join the church they gave their new year a holiday in the church.

For the most part. I consider myself Christian, so that may seem like a strange answer. But there are so many Christian sects out there and they all teach contradictory doctrine and are contstantly striving with one another over what the truth is. How can they all be right? I believe one of them is, and all the rest are false. Thus my answer, that Christianity, for the most part, is a false religion.

The LDS church though, I believe is the true religion. My own personal belief. To each his/her own though. :-)

NO it is not. It is accepting Jesus into your heart and life and admitting that you know He died on the cross for your sins. You repent of your sins every day, and live according to the word of God. It is not false. It is also not a religion, but a way of life. To live in the footsteps of Jesus. Other religions are man made, which are counterfits created by satan to cause confusion in this world. In the very beginning God.created the earth and heaven, not buddah, allah , satan or any other so called god.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

If you're a Muslim or a Jew and you say Christianity is a false religion, so is your religion because Jesus is in the Quran and the Jews believe in God as well as Christians.

-A Christian

There is no false religion. It's just what people believe.

Christianity is a belief. So as long as someone believes something, then it's true. It's true to them. I can sit here and believe you are a woman. If you're man, it doesn't make any difference does it? I've made up my mind, you are a woman. My belief is true, because it's true to me and that's all that counts. If you could prove to me that you are a man then it may change my opinion, but it doesn't have to. A belief is true as long as there are people around who buy into it. It's sort of like Solipsism. Look that one up, it's fascinating.

those of the church who come from this world having an idea of three Divine beings cannot be admitted into heaven,
since their thought wanders from one Divine being to another; and it is not allowable there to think three and say one.{1} Because in heaven everyone speaks from his thought, since speech there is the immediate product of the thought, or the thought speaking. Consequently, those in this world who have divided the Divine into three, and have adopted a different idea of each, and have not made that idea one and centered it in the Lord, cannot be received into heaven, because in heaven there is a sharing of all thoughts, and therefore if any one came thinking three and saying one, he would be at once found out and rejected. But let it be known that all those who have not separated what is true from what is good, or faith from love, accept in the other life, when they have been taught, the heavenly idea of the Lord, that He is the God of the universe. It is otherwise with those who have separated faith from life, that is, who have not lived according to the precepts of true faith (Heaven and Hell n.2).

no more and no less than any other Religious Belief System. there are three ways to gain control in a culture/society. Religion is one of these. GOD is to big to be in only one place and there are a number of ways to go to ones destination. one can walk, run, take a car, truck, bus, train, plane and still get there. the only BASIC differences in any of the various Belief Systems are the NAMES they refer to GOD as, and the various ways the Rituals and Ceremonies are performed in the adoration, honoring, worshiping of GOD in their own particular Belief System.
