It doesn't, many misquote Luke chapter 16, and the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.

This is a parable, and doesn't teach anything concerning Hell.

It teaches that the Pharisee's were to lose their "favored" position, and they are being replace with "common" people.

Jesus called the Pharisee's money lovers, and then when on to give his parable.

Ex 18:4 shows that the soul dies, therefore there is nothing left to torment.

Jesus liken death to sleep. Have you ever had an operation? they put you to sleep so as not to feel the pain.

I have never heard that before. I do know that all believers works that they did on this earth will be tried by fire. If what he built survives, he will recieve his reward. If it doesn't, he will suffer loss. He will be saved, but only as one excaping through fire.

the text is 1Corinthians 3. I am not sure if that is what you are talking about. I know I have heard many preachers say that there will be some believers enter heaven with the smell of smoke because they didn't do a lot for the Lord. This was the text they were referring to.

Since there is no words in the oldest Biblical scrolls that translate as Hell or Hell Fire, I would say none.
