5 people are sitting in a room of a church. All of them have chosen to repent so that they may go to heaven. A priest (or equivalent depending on your religion) comes out and says... I'm going to insure that all of you go to heaven, when I ask you to, come with me and we shall repent. One by one he asks them to follow him into a room. The individual walks in to the room and is instructed kneel before an altar, close their eyes, and repent. Instantly after their last word, the priest kills them (I won't be graphic so just go with it). Everyone is dead except for the priest and one other. The priest walks up to the person and says “I going to show you the power of God”. The priest pulls out a gun and has the person load it. "God is going to stop this bullet from firing from this gun". The priest puts the gun to his own head and pulls the trigger. Dead... Who goes to heaven in this situation? What if they know they would die? Who thinks the gun wouldn't have gone off?

In Bhagavad Gita(8.6), God says,
"Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, O son of Kunti, that state he will attain without fail."

So the persons who die on praying to God, If they are remembering God then they will certainly Qualify to Go back to kindom of God.. But if they have material desires or motive (for even repenting), then they will still get another body to fulfill those motives till they purify completely. But If they committed suicide knowingly, then they would end up as Ghosts staying in the Church.

As For the Priest, He is certainly a fake one for disobeying the order of God "not to kill others". He would be punished for that sin of killing others. and will definitely go to hell to be punished for killing Devotee of the Lord.

I only hope that you are not the last person remaining, to have witnessed such a ghastly scene in false name of God..
If it is so, lets pray for peace of those who got killed by the mad priest.

Since they are kneeling before an alter, none are going to heaven, as God abhors idolatry and alters, just like when the Israelites did at the foot of mount Sinai. Also, to go to heaven, they have to be born again, which is a choice made by the holy spirit, not men. At the most, they may be a part of the second resurrection to a paradise earth, but only God decides that. No man can say whether someone will or will not enter. To do so is putting yourself on the same level as God.

If there is a God, I would think that he hates fools such as these.
