I started fasting at nine but only to get ready for when it was obligitory for me so I did as much as I could each year and when it was time I was ready.....Ramadan Mubaraak

My children both had their first fasting at age 9, and now keep some fasts throughout the month. They will do it full time at puberty.
I am a convert Alhamdulillah and therefore didn't start until well into my 20s.

Salaam-alaikum my brother, may Allah bless you and your fasts during this sacred month. I am 15 years old now, and started fasting periodically for half-days at maybe the age of 10. It has been a year since I have taken the stricter route.

i started when i was 11. I remember my first day lol i ate a whole chicken at iftar.

i stated to fast at the age of 11 , i fast all day ubtil al magrib ( sunset )
but before that age we are practised to fast until al thohar pray then al asar pray , we fast gradually until we fast all day ( al fajar to al magrib )
