seriously, if you ever need some rolling papers for your tobacco.....try a sheet from the bible... the thin paper works very well..and doesn't burn to quickly.

Have you ever felt that pursuit of a degree in some kind of college interfered with your freedoms such as freedom of thought?

you wait before taking some aspirin. Is it that God doesn't heal people anymore or that we arrogantly set time limits on Him and He refuses to bow to our conditions?

Each star theoretically has it's own set of planets just like our own does. I don't know if you Christians know how big a billion is, but it's more than the human mind can imagine. Please explain to me why you think the universe was made only for us. Why would God make so much unnecessary stuff if it was indeed God who did it?

Supposedly the "Adam and Eve" story is an allegory for how Humans have free will. God is also said to be omniscient, all knowing. God can see our futures, he knows what our every move will be in advance... that kinda nullifies "free will." If the future can be seen, then we do not actually have free will but just an illusion. How can we decide weather or not to eat an apple when it's already been decided that we will eat it?

I consider myself a good, respectful, patriotic individual with strong family values, yet I'm considered an evil person by many people because I‘m not a Christian. I have the deepest respect for people’s beliefs but I don’t know why I’m condemned to internal damnation for not agreeing. When I consider that only about 35% of the world’s population is Christian why am I such a bad person? Is 65% of the world going to Hell? I would like an honest aswer, please do not tell me about Jesus or pray for me!

I was speaking to a friend of mine and she told me about her experience in church camp. She said there was a sort of evangelist type thing going on everyday. You know, where they smack people's heads and they fall over, because oh Lordy, God is in them! The evangelist would speak in tounges, wagging his hand over my friend's head, and smacked. "Ow, that hurt." Nothing. Then the guy hissed at her, "Fall over!" She did, just to get him off her back and was told to lie there by the person who caught her.

Okay...what the hell? I never believed that this was real at all to begin with, but I didn't know that the evangelist actually hisses orders to the "saved" to make it more believable. So it's all monkey see, monkey do? Who would actually fall for this???

All you Christian women out there, why don't you just admit that you like a sinful guy? Doesn't a guy who doesn't believe in the Bible turn you on just a little? Don't evil guys turn you on? Tell me the truth! I know you do!

I've been wondering about this.. I've been told God is only good, but is he incapable of evil? If so, then he wouldn't have free will himself. And if he is indeed capable of evil, what is the point of trying to defend every of his acts as just?

I am sorry that I completely messed up with my last question, when I read it a second time I saw how it was that you see it. I apologize for that.

Quote: "Your question is fraught with silly assumptions and non sequiturs. Better take a nap til your head gets better. Then come back and show us how conscience and morals depend on a belief in a god."

I was trying to make a point in a question and it obviously didn't work out. If you would like to see what I was trying to say, read the first chapter to Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. The book doesn't mention a God until about the second or third chapter, so I don't think that it will seem like someone trying to cram something down your throat. Once again, I am sorry and am asking for forgiveness.

I am reading the Qu'ran now and for a first read I think it would go better to have say an equivalent to the living Bible with an easy reading emphasis. I will go back to the litteral Translation after I go through an easy read version. I am aware that the easy read model may not be as precise. I am getting the message loud and clear from this one I have, but I want to do an in depth study as I have done with the Bible and that takes several readings
