You can certainly pray for anyone at anytime. It will be solved. It may not be the answer you want ... but God listens and acts on all prayers.

you would definitely be on the right track. I don't know about "solving Problems" God permits and controls situations, if your heart and will are aligned with God, he may answer your prayer. It depends what it is.
