Jesus is now back in heaven as a spirit being. As such, he doesn't have the nose, mouth, etc. that we do. When he was on the earth, he looked like most of the other Jews in the area, with olive colored skin and Jewish features. His hair was not long because the Scriptures say that long hair is a disgrace for a man but it is a woman's crowning glory.

We know that he looked like most of the other Jews around the area because when he was resurrected from the grave after 3 days, his followers didn't recognize him and Thomas even had to feel the nail holes in his hands to believe that he was the Christ.

He must have been a very strong man; not like the weak looking man he is portrayed to be in some pictures. He was a carpenter by trade and he had to swing a hammer all day and cut wood without a power saw, so we know that he must have been a strong person. Most likely, he was tanned by the sun because of working as a carpenter with his step father, Joseph. It was hard work too. He did this work until his public ministry started at the age of 33 or so years old.

Even before he was killed, when people would try to come to get him, he would blend in with the crowds and they never saw him because he looked just as all the other Jews in the area looked.

In heaven now, as a spirit being, he does not have a physical look as you would think of a person having a certain look.

When Jesus was born, he looked a lot like Mary because she was his mother, and his Father is none other than God Himself.

I think maybe he looks like a person from a Jewish descent. I also believe when we see him, we will see him as he is, a lamb that had been slain. Why? for a constant reminder of the sacrifice he made for all mankind.

Like a Jewish man, with gentle features, peaceful eyes, radiance around him, tender touch, strong embrace, soothing words, smiles alot, cries too, never hungers or thirsts, all inclusive love, wise and strong, ageless, humble appearance, but with a majestic walk, scars on the palm of His hands and feet.

It's hard to get an image of a tall, white man with long brown hair, blue eyes, and a beard, out of my head.

Damn those artists!!!!! They burnt this untrue image in my mind!! :)

You can mentally see him while feeding the poor, giving clothes to the needy, while praying to heal a patient,
Realising him is possible at your heart.
