There are more than a billion stars, that gives you a basic idea of the different life forms of this universe. If we guess correctly that 1 out of 10 stars have solar systems and 1 out of a 100 planets have the conditions to have life, imagine how many intelligent life forms there must be.

christians do not necessarily believe that the universe was "made only for us"
I am a christian and a chemical engineer and I think I have a pretty good notion about the mathmatics of billions
and finally, why would you think I could figure out or explain to you WHY an all knowing all powerful being would do something
I doubt I could understand half of WHY He does anything
remember, infinity is a lot bigger than billions, and that since Christian theology has it that He has been around for ever, then his infinite life and power make a few trillion trillion galaxies a small thing created for whatever His unimaginable purpose might be
I don't have any problem with someone who's world view doesn't include god
that is very rational and I believed that way myself once
but I do have a problem with a condescending "don't know if Christians know how big a billion is" and with a simplistic question that even you must realize has been asked and answered thousands of times without advancing understanding or causing anyone to change their philosophy
it doesn't have to be a challenge
talk, ask, question
that can all be informative

You know that you won’t get any satisfying answers, because to them this is a trivial inconsistency, at the most,
I just want to know how can there a supreme being with all power that can do anything, but never does. Why is it that all the god-whisperesrs on earth, together, are unable to get god, who supposedly was doing stuff right and left 2000 years ago, to lift a finger.
Every person on earth, it seems, is carrying a camera all the time. How come god never does anything to let people know he's there (or here or whatever)?.According to the Bible, God couldn’t stay out of man’s business for 5 minutes back in the day.
Why is it that the only people who claim to see God, Jesus, the virgin Mary, etc., are the same people who get abducted by space aliens, and have sex with Bigfoot? What's the deal here?
Do only people named Bubba get to know what's going on?

Its said contained in the Qor'an (Muslims Holy e book) that God created the universe in 7 days (our days). Then in some unspecified time sooner or later a mild got here from 13.seventy 5 billion years in the past through a gadget which calculates the time of the outbreak of the mild which surpassed through it , then scientists did researches after researches which resulted contained in the "vast Bang idea" which states that the international began as a large gaseous ball then it exploded which led to elements of it to shatter contained in the gap then each and each component of those elements grew to change right into a galaxy and scientists agree that each and each 2d passes the international expands extra as for the planets it really is yet another tale.

1. Try trillions.
2. Each star does not have planets. Only approximately 1 out 8-10 has a planetary system around it.
3. Asking a Christian to use logic or facts to explain God ignores the meaning of the word 'faith'. IE, belief without regard to facts.

There are in fact Billions of galaxies in the universe each of which contains billions of stars. There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on all the beaches on earth.
Your point is well taken, your just off by several magnitudes.

Don't let the universe deceive you. It was created for God's intelligent creations to ponder it's creation and understand the power of God.
(3:190)
Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day there are signs for men who understand.
(3:191)
Those who remember God standing and sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord! You have not created this in vain! Glory be to You; save us then from the chastisement of the fire:

Yes I know how big a billion is, and it's not more than my mind can imagine. (Sorry about yours.)
For one thing, what makes you think we believe the universe was made only for us? Please don't assume anything about our beliefs for the sake of your arguments.
And so what if God did make 'so much unnecessary stuff', and would it be unnecessary? Were any of Mozart's notes unnecessary? Were any of Rembrandt's brushstrokes unnecessary? Maybe everything is necessary, for reasons the human mind cannot imagine........

The bible shows us the universe is only 6000 years old. So only the stars within 6000 light years exist. The rest are just an illusion created by God to test our faith.
