If jesus was god, why did he let a human hit him, or spit on his face? did he have to do that? and last question, did he save the world, or he is going to take just the chosen ones?

The Final Destination is "Brahma Sathyam, Jagan Mithya", (Only the God is Truth, the world is an illusion), the Creator and Creation are One and ther is Nothing second or secondary as said by Sankaracharyar. Probably the meaning of the word Nethi over here is God is not any of these and these are just illusion.

Presently we are in the Dwaita (dvaita) world or Dvaita conscience level where everything is a mixture of Divinity and Material Objects. Different combinations forming different separate things. the Creation and Creator are different as put forward by Madhvacharyar.

Is the path for us is Visishtadvaita put forward by Ramaanjucharyar, saying "Sarvam Khalvidam Brahmam" meaning The world felt by senses is also a part of God and God is beyond it. Probably the meaning of Nethi here is "not only this". The Creater is and beyond the Creation.

Sathya Sai Baba once said to start with Dvaita, go thru Visishtadvaita to reach Advaita...

Ok, I know this question has been raised before, but I can't seem to get a good answer with this.

If you ask me, Christians cannot believe in Evolution. If they did, they would have to see the story of Adam and Eve as false, which goes against everything in the Bible - at least the start of it.

There is clear evidence that humans have evolved from 'apes' or something close to that. So, at what point did Adam and Eve get 'placed' on the earth? were they placed at the point when humans evolved to the point we are today?

i'd like to have an insightful answer to this question, if possibe. an answer that doesn't quote from the bible would be best - afterall, how can we use the bible to prove the existence of adam and eve when the Bible itself is under serious question. I suppose that some people will say that the Bible does talk about evolution, but I don't see that very clearly written.

I'm a Christian, but I'm facing some concerns which make me doubt my entire faith..

christian ladies are very honest, kind, friendly, dress very stylish and beautiful cloths and very modern.
why do muslim ladies hold onto the concept of in order to be of high morals that one should cover with bed sheets and live like they lived 1000 years ago? i find that muslim ladies too like to be modern but the men oppress them.

i almost converted to islam. BUT JESUS CAME INTO MY LIFE!! i studied islam and have come to the conclusion it was a guy who wanted attention. ppl say mohammed read the bible all the time. so he saw some questions ppl had and answered them so they would believe it. he then aded some science, including some false science that ppl believed at the time [like the earth hangs, and is flat] to get ppl to believe. he forced ppl to believe him.

yearly, thousands, if not millions of muslims see visions of jesus christ and become christians!! islam is wrong, and ppl learn that through their dreams.

islam is against human rights. it is against life. it is against love. it is against progress.

muslims want to kill gays. they hate women and treat them as slaves. one muslim friend of mine told me he doesn't believe in the qu'ran but he's still a muslim because of how he can get away with treating women.. that's TERRIBLE!!

Christians! We need to put a stop to this now! There are bad people in the world, sons of Satan, who want to nuke all the baby gay whales. I have seen these people in my own town. They drive beat up trucks with and they have bumper stickers that advocate the nuking of baby gay whales.

I have heard many Muslims say that prophet Muhammed has never had any concubines (sex slaves). On the other hand, most of the Islamic books that tell the biography of prophet Muhammed tell that he had at least 4 concubines (in addition to his 9 wives).

There is even a verse in teh Quran [1:66] that blames prophet Muhammed for not having sex with his concubines. The story behind that verse (as told by Ibn katheer, Al Kordoby, Al Tabari, Al Galalyn... etc.) is that prophet Muhammed was having sex with his concubine "Maria" in his wife's house when his wife caught them. To avoid a scandal, prophet Muhammed asked his wife to keep the secret and in return he would not touch his concubine again, but god did not agree with that and revealed that verse for prophet Muhammed to blame him for not enjoying sex with his concubines.

Is it true that prophet Muhamemd had concubines?

Does anyone have any insight into this? Even Mohammad expressed feelings that he might be forsaken... as well as others. A single guy that I know has a girl friend, they are both christian, and are committed to abstain fror sex untill they are married. They have had no form of sex, be it oral or penetration. I don't know about "petting" etc. but the bottom line is they have not had a sexual relationship. The guy said he has a desire to have sex and to find relief he resorts to private masturbation. He said that he believes that, as is indicated, to lust after a woman is to committ sin--- adultery. He said in an effort to combat this "lust" he fantasies about no particular person. He evidently does not think about his girl friend, any one he knows, or has ever seen. He wonders that since he fanttasies over a make beleive person, masturbates, and has a climax, is it still sinful or fornication? He isn't having sex with anyone or dreaming of anyone he knows but still dreams of sexual encounters to find sexual, emotional relief. I don't know what to tell him. What do you think? What should I tell him?

this one girl in my class hates her life and i always tell her God gave it to ya for a reason, be happy with it, and thats a motto i use,also. it helps to know there is a reason that God wants this to happen to me. so if you are hating something that God gave to you, i think that is kinda rude. i mean its different from hating other things, i mean if you hate ur life you mite as well not have it. ya know? am i rite or am i rite? add something to support me if ya wanna!

How dare any association or group of people try to say that the have contain the words of God.

God is beyond words.
God is beyond human consciousness.
God is.......................................................
far, far away from all the religions.
Jesus was not associated with religion.
He was a man with a higher consciousness.
God gave each and every one of us the ability to have a higher consciousness.
religion won't teach this. It would put them out of business.

Only with the Love and Peace of God's, then we will be truly Free and able to ascend to Heaven, our true birth place (spiritual birth place).
