I was addressing the Spiritual people,NOT you, ye of little faith, the people who are associated with religion.
I'm sorry to break the news, but religion is spiritual fraud. Jesus said that. That's why the jews tried to kill him.

and the "holy" bible.
How dare any association or group of people try to say that the have contain the words of God.

God is beyond words.
God is beyond human consciousness.
God is.......................................................
far, far away from all the religions.
Jesus was not associated with religion.
He was a man with a higher consciousness.
God gave each and every one of us the ability to have a higher consciousness.
religion won't teach this. It would put them out of business.

Only with the Love and Peace of God's, then we will be truly Free and able to ascend to Heaven, our true birth place (spiritual birth place).

I am wondering if someone with so much spiritual intelligence would think it wise to so broadly condemn anyone for their faith in God with such vitriolic vocabulary. Wouldn't it be far greater to live the faith you have so wisely learned and set the example for others? As a people of higher consciousness, aren't you required to not lower yourself to the standards of others that do not have your spiritual intelligence; but to rise above all of the name calling and anger; and lead by a higher standard? Jesus would never (AND I MEAN NEVER) have talked to people in such a way. He would have lived, ate, drank, loved, laughed, and prayed with them. I am really wondering what you truly mean by intelligence. It seems a shame that someone with your ability to reason on one level has forgotten something. God's love is omnipotent, no matter how we love him, whether we love him, whether we follow him or not. He love's us all. So who are you to put yourself above HIm? That is true spiritual intelligence.

I listened to a Hindu teacher once say that all people when they turn their search inward that everyone, regardless of religion or any other distinction, will discover the universal truths of the innate nature of the inner Self that is contained within the wisdom of all religious and spiritual traditions. Not that this is such an odd statement for a Hindu, as I'd later find out. Hindus call their tradition Sanatana Dharma or Eternal Religion not just because it's beginings are lost in prehistory and has no one founder or one person claiming to be it's founder, but as it turns out because it believes that at the very core of the practices (not teachings) that everyone discovers the same universal truths of the innate nature of the inner Self when they turn inward, regardless of the differences (thus that would make such things "eternal" in the sense that it is always true regardless of time, place, religion, gender, age, etc). It's no wonder the Hindu teacher when asked by someone in the room if he considers himself a Hindu he basically said the whole world is Hindu, the whole world is Christian, the whole world is Buddhist, the whole world is Muslim; we just don't realize it because we pay too much attention to our differences when the wisdom of all the wise ones continually reminds us to look within and see our similarities to discover real peace, to discover what some call God and others have no name for but experience it just the same even if they cannot describe it.

Thanks for posting this. Excellent and valid points made here.

Peace be with you.

while I do not entirely agree... I do not entirely disagree either.

religion and real spirituality are vastly different things, and far too many people confuse them or do not distinguish.

while I can only really speak on behalf of judaism... judaism doesn't INTEND or alledge to deal with the afterlife more than very minimally. its focus as a religion, is this world, as it should be.

Religion is not INHERENTLY problematic like you are saying. I think the issue you have is more specifically with christianity and such rather than religion as a whole, for what good that distinction makes.

living well in this life is also a good start to having a good spiritual life.

but I agree 100% that having religion dictate spiritual issues is a bad thing and on the entirely wrong track.

Religion and spirituality are definitely two different things. Religion is man made. I was raised in a certain religion, but even from a very young age, I felt deep in my heart that many things about it didn't add up. It seemed to contradict itself. For example, God is supposed to be all loving, yet then turn around and it says God is jealous and vengeful. There's so much more that don't make sense to me. Religion seems to instill human traits in God, and that can't be possible, because God is perfect. I could go on and on, but anyway, I understand what you're getting at.

if you knew Jesus and his ways you would not be asking such questions and making such stupid comments. try some studying and some spiritualism combined with the nature that our God gave us.
