What leads you to believe that Jacob was a woman?

Yeah probably, wouldn't surprise me at all if they changed her gender; after all the Holy Spirit (Ruah) was feminine until the Christians turned her into a him out of necessity. For instance in the Book of Jashar (mentioned in the OT), it says Moses' wife was the leader and she was doing the great things, much more than Moses, and she became so popular that they had to get rid of her. So yes, it's possible indeed.

No, I had never thought that, and my son's name is Jacob, so I pray your wrong, however I will be going back over that particular scripture again and checking it out. I hope you're wrong, you gave no reason as to why you thought this.
