a Rainbow that is a gift from God as their symbol? God created the rainbow as a promise. He didn't create gays/leasbians. That way of life is their choise.

I never intended to cause an uproar. I was just asking a simple question.
But since I have been called so many names, let me say something else.
GOD did NOT create gays/lesbians. You chose the road YOU want to take on this Earth, but YOU are going to have to appear before GOD and answer His questions.
I am not your judge, but you will be judged. Take out your Bible and read about the flood/rainbow and pray for your own souls.
This is a Religion/Spirituality question. Not a bashing one...
Bend your knees and pray that God will guide you in your quest for satisfaction in this world. He is your only hope. Watch this and see how you feel. Turn speakers UP and think about the rest of eternity.
I still love you and God does more. He sent His Son here to die for us.

A rainbow is a thing of beauty, it's symbolizes to Christians God's promise to never flood the earth again. I can understand non-believers not knowing, or believing this. A rainbow wouldn't have been formed if God hadn't had wished it be formed.
Gays and Lesbians/Homosexuals use the rainbow as their symbol, to proudly show the world who they are. When they have ay rights parades, or any gatherings there are rainbow flags and signs every where. And this is OK, they chose it as there symbol to represent them and I think it is appropriate. They come from all over, are of all shapes and sizes, all back grounds, different religions/faiths, from different parts of the world, and the rainbow is a good symbol to represent the diversity of their characters and personality.
And it really has nothing to do with you, you shouldn't get so bothered by it.
Oh and by the way, I am a Christian, and I am against homosexuality, it is an abomination against God, but, they are here among us, they have a right to live and be happy. Just wish they would turn against their (UN)natural ways, and turn to God.

There was some use of similar multi-colored flags in the USA in the early 1970s as a symbol of internationalism and unity of all people of Earth, but by the end of the 1970s the rainbow flag's connection with gay pride became generally known in the United States.

The thing is not with gay or lesbians ,the real thing is ther are more person who likes in sex and the muscular form of both ,so in this when one person having sex in first time like gay and everytime he likesthe best and he gets the best from that automatically he will be intrested to tit and he won't feel comfortable with having sex with others ,because he would b practiced to that in same manner the lesbians too,jus know in this world everything going to be changed do u know how the mankind started ,and from that how the sex created ,do u know that if uknow that u won't ask these type of qustions okie cool but ther thijg s happning that mother ******* son father ******* daughter in many places of the world ,i don't want to say iam bad ,are u bad ,but ther is some good things just think of the good things be good do good ,that's it don't betray others have sex with one person if u don't like him after marriege just divorce him and don't go for the next .just have a stop and control u rself in sex that will be a r8 job and u will be sure satisfy by urself in u future .

YOu are totally right. I see it like this Satan wants to be God and he is crazy jealous of him. God wants it to be when you see a rainbow you think of him and his promise to the world but Satan has turned it around and now when people see a rainbow all they think of is Gay stuff which is not of God so Satan pretty much has stolen some of God's glory away.

Rainbows are caused by the nature of light, the refractive index of water, and the shape of raindrops.
Do you really believe that God made rainbows to remind himself not to drown the animals again? Oh, that is just hilarious!
The rainbow is a symbol of diversity. Nature is diversity. If there is a God, then diversity is part of God's plan.

I find it totally shocking that people who are taught to "Love your neighbor as yourself" can be so bigoted. I live in San Francisco and love living in my diverse community of thoughtful, kind, generous, warm, lovely and colorful people. I have a 17mo daughter and go to the playground with her several days a week. I frequently meet families with two mommies or two daddies. They clearly love their children as much as any parent does.
One of the strongest arguments I have for why the Bible MUST be wrong is that so many Bible believers are so totally screwed up in their humanity towards other people.
Shame on you and all Christian bigots.
